All my glock clones are budget. A glock will never be more than a duty pistol for me. I will never buy anything more expensive than a glock because it is not that exciting enough of a gun for me quite like a 1911, Beretta or good quality revolver. At the same time, if it cost as much as a glock I’m going with the glock because….. reputation. What I find nice about the ruger is it is the first budget minded clone that comes with the reputation of a good brand and some of the features you want on a glock. I am missing an entire paycheck from last year because of glock clones including the dagger, but the ruger is one I would actually carry. At the end of the day they all are a miss because I have come to the conclusion that for my purposes, the glock 48 is my choice.

Nice , but I would never buy because of the polymer frame / receiver would much rather have an all aluminum or metal frame with the steel barrel and polymer stock .

It's a blowback gun so it runs better with stout ammo. Also most HP's need minimum of 100 rounds for break in. With all my guns I also break down new mags to check for any machining burrs and lube with a dry spray. Guns and Ammo magazine did a test on the JHP 45 Gen2 when it came out. From a sandbag they shot 2.5" group at 50 yds with Hornady +P ammo. The 45 and 10mm have shown to be tough, reliable and accuracy beyond their price point that's unreal. My 45 pistol trigger (Gen2) is way better than my carbine from a few years earlier. Can't say if it's due to improvement or I just got lucky. Due to size and weight I consider mine to be a house/truck/boat gun but it's value is unbeatable.

Your ammo is not hot enough. For that particular ammo you are using in the video. You would need to use less power recoil spring.

So. Your opinion is yours of course and I wouldn't presume to tell you what you should like and/or prefer. I do know that after seeing many videos from Flux Defense on RUclips, they very specifically state that the use of the iron sights on the raider is a secondary system at best and the Raider has always been intended as a host for a red dot optic. So I really dont see the complaint there. As far as the stock being difficult to push back in, I am under the impression that becomes easier with time but it is designed that way so it will not collapse while under recoil. The charging handle issue is a fairly moot point as well considering several companies make different variants of charging handles for this platform. I do agree with you on the price. I put an X Carry in mine, so I ultimately ended up paying about the same if not a little more. That said, I was fully aware of what I was purchasing through research. There is a lot of reliable content available on this platform to include Arron Cowan (Sage Dynamics), Military Arms Channel, and even Flux themselves. There is no reason that you should have purchased this without a good idea what you purchased unless your research was minimal.

I bought one around 6 months ago. Do I need it? no. But it is lots of fun to shoot. And it is a nice shooter. Thanks for the video.

Bad review. Ignored included features like red dot cut slide. If it shoots as well as a Glock, that’s a win, everything else is icing on the cake - all for less $$$.

Only thing I found was the plastic front sight side guards broke in the zero degree weather, elsewise its my go bag stash plinker 22mag chamberd

As a person who doesn’t own a Glock but admires their dependability, this one is a no-brainer. American made, $200 cheaper than a Glock and with all the extra bells and whistles Also saw a 8400 round torture test and not a single malfunction. That’s enough proof for me. Mine is being shipped to my LGS now

Definitely not a gimmick after shooting over 1000 rounds through it I don’t travel without it. Easy to hide and can be very accurate with practice

How about weight? I love my XDM but its heavier than the equivalent glock. Echelon weights about the same as a glock 17. That's about 5 oz lighter. I do prefer the grip safety as well. But the Echelon feels great in the hand, but so does the XDM compared to a glock anyway.

I inherited my grandfather's Remington bolt action .22 rifle. It's almost 100 years old, and accurate as the day it was made. It shoots shoots, long, and long rifle .22 rounds. I also have the ammunition to go with said rifle. If Winchester wants to come out with a rifle that fires all the different .22 rounds as mine does, i might be interested. Until then, I'll keep my Remington.

You didn't like the ruger sr9 series i had a sr9c and it was a good gun till it got stolen

I have noticed the cold shot on there is usually off about 3-4 inches from the rest of a group on different peoples videos.

I understand why people are tired of Glock "clones". I'm ok with it. But why are we so upset over Glock clones...what about 1911, AR-15, pump shotguns and so many others? Almost everything today is a "clone"! God bless America where we can live in a country where we have this problem lol. North Korea you can't even own a single shot 22 short.

Bought an Archon Type B about a year ago. Put hundreds of rounds through it. Never a hiccup. Ate everything and extremely accurate. I have had a ton of pistols over the years and as a former SWAT team leader and forearms instructor I can attest the Archon is a better feeling and shooting gun than any Glock, better feeling than my HK's, and will shoot on par with my Sig AXG Pro. The flattest shooting pistol I own with follow up shots/recovery being extremely fast. If you don't have one, you are missing out.
