Watching this a bit late but were you able to get any of the a24 movies since this video was made? I already had Midsommar and EEAAO but I picked up Marcel from my local Walmart and I’m so glad I did. The movie was excellent! Also - just fyi the collector’s set for Midsommar is VERY nice packaging but the disc itself is barebones with a minimal menu screen that essentially just says “start movie”. No special features on disc and no chapter visible chapter selection. Just fyi in case you weren’t already aware. EEAAO, on the other hand, has a nice menu screen with some nice extras and its packaging is AMAZING.

Gotta say I had the opposite reaction to Trap. IMO, it was a terrible film - bad dialog, poor acting, pacing was all over the place and it suffered from multiple ending syndrome. Not even so bad it’s good like The Happening. Sorry. That’s my soapbox. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 😅

The movie was fine , but what was off-putting to me was what Keaton had to work with. The song numbers weren't for me .

Matter Of Fact I Believe BJ And Lyds Should Set Their Differences Aside And Start Working As A Team Alongside Astrid (Jenna Ortega) To Save Both Worlds Of The Living, And The Dead. Also Beej Has Just Gotta Succeed In His And Lydia's Wedding. You Remember What Wynona Ryder Said In That One BTS Interview. Plus I Really Can't Wait To See If Astrid Will Return For This One. Lydia's Kid Is Far Too Good To Not Do Another Sequel With The Ghost With The Most

John Gallagher Jr’s character is such an underrated villain. You used the perfect word to describe him: sadistic. There are 2 moments that stand out to me that really showcase that and are truly chilling! When he watches her writhing in pain through the glass door and what he says to her when he’s behind her in the bathroom. 😳

It's a a good movie I like it, but the final girl made a stupid mistake when she knocked on the window distracting her neighbor's boyfriend. Also she should have helped him when he was choking the killer.

The sad truth is that there are very few movies with a competent Atmos track. Some of your recommendations are not what they seem to be, in terms of a really good Atmos tracks. If you have the possibility to turn off your bed layer speakers and only use the Atmos channels, just make this experiment. Especially with movies like BR 2049, Aquaman or John Wick. The Atmos channels are barely used, even in some scenes where they should have been used. To make a very good Atmos track requires time, money and human resources. Most of the studios don't bother too much with that.

Frank, your LOTR/Hobbit SB's look cool AF on the wall there. I ordered a steelbook set of each from Zavvi but they aren't due until March '25 maybe? One of them is a UK release but I'm not sure what's up with those things.

Prices are way too high. I believe it's because all those companies are sending every steelbook to all the youtubers for free.
