The first 20 minutes or so are gripping and incredibly creepy.

It’s a beauty, it includes the novel the film is based on and the soundtrack. The picture quality is 10/10. It’s long been one of my favourite films and I couldn’t believe how good it looks in 4K,

It’s super expensive now. But if it helps I was also late to the game and had to pay over £100 for it 😂

I saw QP Day One as well. I thought it was good, but it also didn't add much to the franchise. The chemistry between Joseph Q and Lupita N was easily some of the best of any movie this year.

@@Insomniackuzco I had that in 2017 watching IT. I eventually had one way conversation with them and they left 5min later but I was worked up rest of the film. Honestly I'm one of them who used to love the cinema but hardly go now for that reason.

Alien was great. I also think Godzilla and Kong was great.

@@williamdriver1959 Practical effects in alien were good. I could have written a better story though. Much of it was just stuff to forward the plot without making much sense

@@Insomniackuzco I feel like that can be said about all movies. Stuff to move the plot forward. We can’t all like the same things. I respect it. I just had a good time with alien.

Insomniac - I agree for most of the movies you mentioned. I did like Alien Romulas and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. I still need to watch Despicable Me 4.

@Franksmediaandreviews it's steep but it's an awesome steel:). I tripled dipped too but sold the U.S BR when turbine dropped the steel, and then picked up the SS Box😃

@@Franksmediaandreviews Hey Frank, I always prefer a 4k uhd combo pack because l can let my friends & family borrow the blu ray movie version & It's a extra movie backup in case of 4k disc issues in the future 🤙🏼

Ain't nothing wrong with that! If you like it, then definitely get the 4k as it’s one of the best a/v this year.

I've own the first two on Bluray and the third on Itunes digital. Maybe I will get the 4th on 4K. I have so much titles to add in my collection that I have to make difficult choices.

@@Franksmediaandreviews Just a quick update… finally was able to watch Kingdom and it was awesome. Just can’t compare to the theaters with at home releases. The audio and video are excellent. The HDR was also amazing during dark scenes with torches, as well as the opening visual scenes of the mountains. Great review, Frank! Thanks for recommending.
