I got the Second Sight limited edition. I honestly I think I probably would have been fine with the blu ray. I don’t think the differences in the resolution or hdr/dolby vision are that big because the movie is so stylized so any of those differences are subtle. I definitely have a bit of buyer’s remorse.
Yeah, I would've thought the SS 4k transfer would be slightly better than the bluray releases. For me, when I rewatch the film, I'm choosing the Capelight Pictures release.
I listen to Deadpit, Piz, Chh, and Garrett. Now I'm listening to most of your stuff... I like the Second sight version better than the Umbrella 1080p release.....
Thanks for your support! I don't know if I should be in the same sentence as them, but I'll take it! 🤣 Hope you can make it to tomorrow's celebratory livestream!
Yup, I've found Late Night with the Devil a more enjoyable film that I wanted to purchase multiple copies and although I enjoyed D&W, I'm fine for now with the standard 4k slipcover.
I bought three different releases, and the capelight 4k will stay sealed since I have a bunch of double dipped capelight and other rate mediabooks. My favorite is the 4k of Phantasm mediabook with Devin Whiteheads artwork...
Normally I would agree with you with this release, and everyone who watches my channel knows SS is my favorite Boutique Label, but I'm always honest, and the CP has the better 4k transfer, and SS is tied with UE for the overall physical release. But of course this is all my opinion.
Yeah, I was thinking the same, but again, I wanted to show all the releases at the same time for transparency. In-person, there is definitely an improved visual difference with the Capelight Pictures from the Second Sight.
I have the steelbook and the umbrella and second sight. I ain’t gonna get the cape light. Then again I may cause now I’m curious to see with my own eyes 😂
I watched this film Saturday my wife said turn it off I'm bored 😴 after 30 mins , me I watched it all I didn't dig it mate found it corny and comical in parts I didn't do it for me , I really wanted to love it but I carnt lie, and over hyped just my opinion
Which release did you pick?
Congrats on 2K Frank!
Thank you, Ryan!
Love this movie saw it in theaters and got the second sight addition
Nice!

Over $140 for 5 copies of Late night with the Devil 💰but no copy of $60 Disney's Deadpool & Wolverine 4k steelbook 🤕

@@DinoJazz13 I have the same one! I still can't believe there's not a US 4k release to one of the horror classics. BOYYYYYYY! 🤣
I have the standard Blu Ray from Arrow video which I picked up from a charity shop for $2
$2?! Heck yeah!
It’s not possible to top a Second Sight release. Always the definitive edition!

Just from looking at the videos you included, to me the 4K releases look identical and the blu-ray releases look identical.

It's all good, Stuart! No need to apologize. We all have different opinions.
