In Wales U.K. wish we had your weather!
I've been giving my chickens crushed ice and frozen watermelon 😂
You’re such a good chicken momma
<3
Got some pretty spoiled/lucky girls there!! 😃 It has finally cooled a little bit around here! I made the girls a sand box out of a kitty pool recently and they have all been in it dusting and rolling around. 🤩
ehw so yucky, but still makes me hungry
Yucky to us, delicious to my girls! ❤
I think you must have the happiest chickens!
I love the way how you keep chickens, if I see docu about the egg-industry and poultry for maet is terrible! Every chickens must have a life like you're chickens have . Greetings from Belgium ❤jp
I love salmon faverolles I have one, her name is Lilly. They are so beautiful, cuddly and funny
I’ve gotten 2 more since this vid! ❤❤
It is my first time on your channel and I have just subscribed. Thank you so much for sharing. Keep up the good work. I would love to raise chickens too but I do not have the space for doing that. All the best on this journey.
What you did with the salad for the chickens is a very good idea, I can share it with my friends who have chickens
What😮 did you do to keep them from rusting! Mine rusted in 1 year. I need to get it off so I'm sanding tomorrow. Have any idea what to use to keep the rust off after sanding?
I painted a think layer of Rustoleum paint.
Working in mines today
Can I use the dead leaves I raked as a filler?
Absolutely! Logs, branches, grass, mulch(no chemicals) anything to fill it. Then put the good soil on the top.
AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL GOOD LUCK DUDE 💝💝💟🔔🆚🔔
They look comfy cozy! Hope you’re well, we’ve missed you on Gardener Scott’s Monday lives. I’ve been waiting for you to post… for Christmas my husband said we could get chickens!!! We’re almost done with the coop, I’m so excited🎉!
Omgoodness! I’m so excited for you!! Can’t wait to see your setup. Check out Chickenlandia and the older vids on Becky’s Homestead for some great chicken info! ❤❤
@@UrbanChickenMomma that’s funny, I’ve been watching a bunch of her videos😂
Nice
Lovely
So cute. Glad you found a home for Zoe/Joey
Get that heat lamp out of there asap!! I had one last winter that exploded and cut some of my girls. I bought a doghouse self heating mat for them to snuggle on, no more danger.
I love chicken videos
Why can't you keep roosters ? Here in Belgium don't exist such law and neighbour's don't complaining ....
My city doesn’t allow roosters. He could jeopardize my entire flock if someone calls the police. It’s sad.
❤❤❤ I love your set up! And I'm so excited to re home that handsome Rooster 😁🐓 I'm sure my sweet girls will come to love him too 💞 I'm so excited!!!
Woot woot! He will live a happy life with his own flock of lovely girls. 💕💕
Everyone looks comfy cozy! Such a well behaved rooster too, what a bummer. At least you’ll be blessing another flock! It’s funny, our neighbor used to have a rooster and he’d start cock-a-doodle-doing at random times in the evening to the morning and I loved it! It put a smile on my face every time. It’s too bad they don’t allow it in so many places. On the bright side you won’t have to worry that you’ll randomly crack open an unfortunate egg. Best wishes Zoe/Joey!
Aaawww thanks @Llama Llama. It's sad. He's a good boy. There's a chance I can get his offspring down the road though.
Absolutely you will!!!
@@UrbanChickenMomma that’d be awesome if you did!
I still have a lot of green tomatoes on the vine as well. I'm going to have make some hard decisions within the next few days - as first freeze is projected next weekend.
It’s so hard to pull those green ones!
Chicken math, girl!! We have that is common for sure!!😀 Pretty girls.🥰
I love it! How many girls do you have now?
@@UrbanChickenMomma lets see.....13 chickens and 5 ducks. The 7 older girls were here till 2 weeks ago and I found a lady that likes to have chickens around and she took all of the 7 so I was lucky there.
Good night Buffalo wings. Good night laps.
Not in my house!
Rare for me to get an actual algorithm hit
Love it!
Hens singing calmly is very relaxing.
It’s the best
Awww
You have a nice group there.
Nice to see a true YT algorithm W. Love this ❤️
I approve of this.
Loving how you love your feathered babies. ❤
I love salmon faverolles
That's one good looking chicken for sure
Lovely
I'd love to know how you built your PVC pipe arches. Those are cool! Do you have a vid on that?
I don’t have a vid. I watched a gardener Scott vid on it and then made it my own. I just used pvc pipe, T’s to connect and then screwed hardware with pvc holes inside the raised beds. It was easier than I thought it would be.

Mix ups happen! I have something definitely NOT a Roma in my sauce patch. Your garden looks great!
Thanks!
Looking good! San Marzano is a Roma type tomato and my preferred variety for salsa! They are so meaty and tasty while also being a very reliable producer in our climate. You have a lot more slicers than I grow and you are going to be buried in tomatoes in a month! The garden looks so nice. This time of year I'm so anxious to get those first ripe tomatoes. I have Sweet Million cherries just starting to ripen and Siletz on the verge. I concerr that starting in March works just as well as January for me because I don't get them out until at least June when the soil temp is holding at 60F+. Thanks for the awesome tour.
I noticed you were missing the last couple Mondays. Good to see you are okay. Can’t wait for the tomatoes to ripen for sure.
Everything looks happy and healthy! My tomatoes are at about the same stage. I’ve had a few cherry tomatoes that have ripened but waiting on the rest and I’m excited for some good slicers. I couldn’t wait on the peppers ripening so I’ve just been harvesting them green and blistering them in a pan. Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden update!
I’d love to see you blistering yours in a cat iron pan! Thanks for your always kind words!
Just love it Stacey! You really have a ton of tomatoes! Your garden has really grown and looks great ❤❤
Thanks! It’s a ton of work. But, I love it. Just watched your video earlier today. Man, I’m so glad my weather isn’t like yours! Glad you’re well though.
Everything look great ❤
Thank you!
You’ve created quite the beautiful garden! I love DIY garden projects too. I just picked up some heavy gauge metal flashing at a yard sale today to make some round planters. Metal roofing works great too. We were talking to a woman today who collects children’s chairs to put plants on them for her container garden, she reminded me of what you did with with your red chairs. GREAT idea with the file cabinets! It looks very modern! When I saw them I thought they must’ve cost you an arm and a leg! I have an industrial electrical cabinet that we made a bed out of this winter, although it’s not in such good shape like yours. Beautiful and great ideas, thanks for sharing!
Hi Llama Llama! That’s sounds super fun to make planters out of flashing. What a wonderful idea. Good to hear from you 🌸
So inventive. Love your creative use of cast off stuff!
Thanks!
I love your DIY Beautiful 😍 ❤
Thanks 🌸
Good job Stacey!! Love your teepees. ❤
Thanks! So glad to finally be planting warm season veggies. 🙋♀️
@@UrbanChickenMomma That’s exciting! I’m still putting in cool crops. Got onions, celery, collards, bok choy and peas in. But… tonight low 30’s and tomorrow as well. Need to cover my flowers up but… it is what it is!! Looking good girl friend! Happiest of Mother’s Day to you and your chicks 🐥
@@2galsfarmworks Oh geez. That’s still pretty cold. I’m sure my collards, bok choy, broccoli, and cauliflower are all going to bolt now. High 80’s the next 3 days. The chickens won’t mind getting the extra greens I’m sure. Happy Mother’s Day to you too!
@@UrbanChickenMomma 😘
Good job! Video is really good!! So good to be in the garden, yeah for 2023!!!🤩
Aawwww Thanks Kim!! Yes, finally!!! 🌸
Living vicariously through your chickens! Maybe one day. Sigh…. Although I had a coyote in my yard recently- close to the house, so maybe not.
Yeah you’d have to get a real good predator proof system. Problem is everything likes chicken.
