I still hate prometheus and Covent personally i much prefer we just never find out where they came from and if nothing eles they shouldn't be the byproduct of humanity since it removes them being aliens.

i like all the alien movies exept avp 1 and 2. honestly there are some dumb things they do in the later movies but there still better then avp

Something I really love about the original Alien and Aliens is how they took care of having the behavior of the Xenomorph make sense for the situation, they aren’t mindless killing machines, the sole drone in the first one keeps to the shadows and does their best to avoid direct confrontations while gathering resources to build a hive meanwhile in Aliens the Xenomorphs are relentless cause not only are they defending their Queen and territory but because they know they have the numbers to overrun the marines without worrying about the hive going extinct.

I actually like that there are two versions. It gives a reason to use the GTS and the diferences are cool, I hold literally the opposite opinion on SV story. It would have felt super cheap if both parents had the same stichk and is cool that Arven is a kid with a single parent in both games. Not only that but the version diferences are mostly aesthetics and cool ones at that. It's much more interesting to have Opelucid City change between versions rather than having just one. The only complain I think makes sense to make about this is that unique non-breedable Pokémon shouldn't be version exclusive. Literally no one buys two copies and the reason third entries are so beloved is because of the quality of life changes, not because of the fusion, the expanded pokedex carries Platinum popularity. There is a lot wrong with Pokémon and I probably won't buy the next main series game (well, traditional ones, I will check out the Legend ones) but this one is the opposite of a problem. Nobody is even buying both games, and is clearly not intended for anyone to do so or promoted that way.

Version exclusives had nothing to do with the limited storage of GB cartridges. Red and blue are actually the exact same game file, only difference being a switch on the cartridge that decides which version to boot. It was something suggested by Miyamoto in order to promote the idea of trading which was the franchises big gimmick. Even into gen 3 you can just load up save files cross version. It's just a legacy thing the franchise gets away with to make people buy the same game multiple times.

I don't know where you got that they made pokemon two game because the Gameboys small memory, like you can trade the pokemon in the other title to the separate title, and Yellow version

Honestly the argument of memory shortage isn't even valid considering that you can trade between version means that exclusives are hard coded on both generations They could have easily baked the exclusive legendaries into the story behind a dialog choice and the others to a post game Overall the one at fault here is the fans complacency because the quality of the games is a result of executive greed

although matpat jumpscare was a highlight of the movie to me i find that reaction totally valid. in the cinema i was whispering "nonononononono" all the time he was on screen LMAO

honestly a call to boycott pokemon is supper brave of you considering what you already said about pokemon fans who just keep buying stuff because- it's hard, it really is, we're always waiting there comes another magic experience for us, and it's hard to let go but it really needs to be done. put your foot down and wait now im a bit more hopeful for the state of future pokémon games due to the announcement on twitter they made about ot churning out games so often- but, for nw, i will keep on playing pokemon romhacks and wait for pokemon legends ZA, hoping it will be good

Honestly I'm just waiting for Pokemon Debt and Pokemon Credit and its ground breaking feature where you need to actively link your credit cards to nintendos servers to even turn on the game with the pay to evolve mechanic to show who really has the competitive price point... or was it spirit. I'm sure the community would support it with passion.

The worst part is the removal of the definitive third version, the third version WAS where it was at, it made a great story, it linked the two other games together, but now it’s just two entirely separate stories with no third version so they’re just entirely different (I mean we know it’s a ruse to sell more copies since if there’s a third version people will just buy that, BUT STILLL)

The funny thing is in the last few years Japan has been revamping and releasing its classic Tokusatsu projects since the release of Shin Godzilla. Both Shin Ultraman and Shin Kamen Rider deserve a wider awareness since I’d say they’re both very good examples of iconic ip’s can be translated well to global audiences

I do like Shimo quite a bit. She really gave me some Krystalak vibes if anyone remembers Godzilla Unleashed. This will probably be the closest we'll ever get to seeing something like Krystalak in a movie. Another thing is that Shimo is a new addition to the lore. It's always great to see new faces in the series, especially in comparison to some of the more generic looking creatures in the Hannah Barbera show or Godzilla The Series. Sure those shows had cool designs like Axor, Crustaceous Rex, Quetzalcoatl, Chameleon and a few others. Some of the others, especially in the Hanna Barbera series felt a little generic like the Giant Bee. I like the idea of seeing more original creations if done well, and I think Shimo was done good. Skar King was also a fun villain and kind of brutal to be honest. I mean there's that one scene with a bunch of severed ape heads that he has on display. I hope to see more original MonsterVerse creations from other movies, but it would be nice to get some of Toho's classics as well.

I have the idea for Mothra’s next design. She is larger with wider wings. Her fur and wing patterns resembling more to the Toho Mothra. My idea is that this is her “Alpha form”

Speaking of Anime Imagine if Toho did a Godzilla x Elfen Lied crossover It would probably be called Elfen Godzilla It'd be like Godzilla is the God and the Dicloni are the angels who follow him Except that both Godzilla and the Dicloni are still mutants but that's the dynamic between them And at first Humanity attacks them cause they don’t understand them but later something like Destoroyah appears who is supposed to be the devil along with his side demons and then Godzilla and the Dicloni battle Destoroyah and his goons to protect the earth and humanity which causes humanity to decide to have their back and sends their militaries to join the fight against Destoroyah and his Demons

Everyone keeps saying GxK is a Showa era type film, but I disagree. It is very Heisei. G is an antihero with a psychic female, OP adversaries, and unwanted team ups. All Heisei traits.

I know I've heard you go on this rant before, and yeah, even as someone who's not a diehard pokemon fan, it makes no sense to keep paying full price for both games for basically the same experience. Hell, if EA was doing stuff like this, people would be rightfully torching their asses for it, but Game Freak gets a pass cause its Nintendo! Cause its Pokemon! Cause its muh childhud. I'm just personally ashamed I didnt even think about it until you first pointed it out to me lol

I think this W might influence how Budget and CGI can be handled in the future. M:LOM Season 2 might have more monster scenes due to the CGI costing less. A big problem with movies today is how expensive they are and because of that, they are flopping left and right.

Hella enjoyed the HECK out of this movie, and I really appreciate the Monsterverse going in this direction which opens to door to various possibilities. It also provides us with two different kinds of Godzilla, the more serious and philosophical version which ToHo seems to be leaning into, and of course, the more goofy, Showa inspired version.
