Everyone I know is re-reading 4th wing and iron flame. 😂 Also, if you get another mini without nylon, you could do striped legs. I did a pair for my mom with stripes of 5 rows MC, 5 rows CC, etc. She loved them.

I finally tried my sock machine for a swatch yesterday after watching your vlogmas. Are the contrast colors hard to add? Probably should get the basics down with one first but your socks are turning out so cute with the surprise minis.

How many weights do you use while you’re cranking the sock?

I love the idea of a sock machine but I don’t know if I would use it enough to justify it. Can you use it to make other things too?

You are so funny, Rachel. For someone who always tells others to do as they please, you certainly apologize often for doing the same (but you do later say you´re NOT sorry, so good for you!). I enjoy watching you crank socks though it´s not something I think I´ll ever do. I really enjoy knitting socks and I´ve knit quite a few pairs for gifts in the past month. More to come, too. Anyway, I liked the color pooling in your pair, I thought it made a nice design. But to each his own! You made me want to cast on another pair but I have to finish a needlepoint project for a friend (and it´s a gift so it has to get done). I love your December goal of finishing your WIPs. I have two blankets I really would like to finish before the end of the year, so that´s my challenge... to not cast on new things but finish the WIPs. I wish us both luck!

I had mine finished by Saturday night which was concentrated knitting the entire weekend. So fun every year!
