I love you girl! You always tell it like it is, lovely and smooth, sometimes maybe a little warty, whatever, I know you tell your truth and I love it. You are never boring. 🙂
Decades ago I was knitting a fairly complex sweater pattern using interchangeable needles. I was merrily knitting along when I looked down and suddenly realized that one tip had unscrewed itself from the cord and quite a few stitches of this complex pattern had unraveled and many others were about to walk the plank. It would be difficult to overstatement my panic and anxiety at that moment. I never did properly recover the stitches in pattern and so I abandoned the project, found solace in self-medicating with wine, and talked about it for weeks afterwards with anyone who would listen. TO THIS DAY, I have a profound fear of this happening again and am now religious about inserting lifelines into complex patterns, choosing fixed circulars whenever possible and if interchangeables are the only option, obsessively tightening the connection with a T-pin every other round or so. I probably should have sought talk therapy. 🙂
Love how your sea glass is knitting up it's gorgeous. And glad to see your ok after Francine. I'm in the Houston area so I was closely watching it the whole time.
The Azucena is lovely. Love the color combo. Oh! The sea glass colors are beautiful! Thank you for giving me permission (for lack of a better word, but you know what I mean) to tie knots in my work 😅
Thank you for everything. Your Sea Glass sweater reignited my interest in the Sea Glass Cowl which I've frogged twice due to being so unhappy with my color choices. I'm going to give up on my scraps and order the yarn I want!
I had to giggle when you said you thought the Azuzena (spelling?!? 😜) was warm. I’ve made a tanktop in Wild and soft + a shortsleeved Ranunculus in two strands and both garments make me break out in sweat! 😂💦 It’s one of the warmest yarns I’ve ever come across - it could probably be used for insulation in a house. 🏠❄️🔥
I'm just imagining you, in Ireland, working on the Winter's Beach Cardi, on the bus, messing up a cable row... then, 8 hours later, we're hotel knitting after dinner and you catch your mistake and have to rip back, and I'm just giggling in the corner.
Hi, your needle tip can be replaced under warranty, contact customer service and request replacement online, it's pretty easy and fast to get a new one. I like your seaglass sweater and will cast on my own soon.
The Azucena code worked! Thank you! As usual, I love your videos. Tell it like it is :) I can't wait to see your mods for Winters Beach. I tried it 3 times and just gave up. I think I'm a similar size to you and the armholes were gigantic 😢 it put me off from knitting her patterns, I had tried a few others with similar fails.
Yay! So glad to know it's still working for people. That's good to know about the armholes; I'll be sure to be very engaged when I get to that part to make sure I make it work for me!
Thank you! I have my outfits roughly planned out already and didn't have the Azucena included since it wasn't done when I started planning... but I think I may need to bring it with me after all!

Thank you!
Hi Rachel . Your knitting is so beautiful and inspiring. Please don’t ever stop.
Thank you! I hope I can do this forever!
That Azucena sweater has turned out brilliantly and looks great on you!❤
Thank you so much!

I'm so sorry that happened to you! I would have had the exact same response.
Hi Rachel 💜🧶💫. Love your content !! 🎉you’re a rockstar in the knitting world, in my opinion .😊
Oh thank you!
Can’t wait to see how the Winter’s Beach knits up in your chosen yarn. I think it is going to be fantastic 💜
Me too! I'm really excited!
Your Azucena looks great and fits well. I love the dramatic music for the reveal 😂
Thank you! 😁
Hey, thanks. I was one who commented about slightly longer try-on clips. The length of this one was good. Thank you again!
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you! Yes thankfully we did not experience anything more intense than some howling wind and heavy rain.
Hi Rachel, Thanks for another enjoyable and inspiring episode! Happy Knitting !
Thanks, and same to you! Happy knitting!
Love your sea glass sweater
Thank you so much!
Silk is a cool weather fibre - its definitely warm to wear and not cooling like linen would be. Beautiful colours!
Thanks for the insight!
The entire time I was working on my Dewdrops handband and cowl, I kept thinking this would be a great hat pattern, so I’d personally love to see it! 😁
We shall see!
The Azucena is lovely. Love the color combo. Oh! The sea glass colors are beautiful!

I tie knots too 😊
Nothing wrong with a good knot!

Yes! Go the direction that works for YOU!

Yes, definitely not a warm weather yarn at all!

Thanks for the info!
That sweater looks beautiful on you!
Thank you!
Can’t wait for the pattern!
Thank you!!!
I’m just giggling because you’ve gotta try Addi the quality is unmatchable and they have a lifetime warranty on all of their needles
Good to know!
The Azucena code worked! Thank you!

I thought I was the only one who hated leaving the house!
It is THE WORST!!!!
❤❤❤
The Azuscena is really pretty and looks great on you. I would have made the same modifications that you did. Will you wear it in Ireland?
