Hi Cheraya, can you please give some info as to how you travelled from Siem Reap to Pakse via bus? Is there a option for me to pre book my bus online in some website? And is there a bus which I can use to travel overnight! Planning for trip to Sieam Reap to Pakse to Da Nang. Not able to find proper info about buses on the internet :(

I'm thinking about taking the train from St Paul to New Orleans to see the Eagles in concert. There'd be a 3.5 hr layover in Chicago. I'd allegedly make it to NO with a 3.5 hour window to see the concert. The hotel I'd stay at is close to the NO Amtrak station, along with the concert venue. I'd be afraid to show up late to see the concert, but Steely Dan opens up the concert, for a little more window. I'd cash in some frequent flyer miles with Delta and come back Monday.

Did they sponsor you? Or did you get paid in any way? I am looking to rent from this company, but they have some very concerning reviews. None are for this area though. Trying to make a smart decision as a solo camper..

Very disappointing experience with this clown show of an operation. Van was in very very poor repair with fittings and fixtures broke on not in operation. Basics like window blinds were broken or inoperable. The air-conditioning in the truck part of the van was in need of service as it blew hot air. The staff on the ground were friendly but they had no power to service customers. Upon submitting a concern I was given a refund of about 10% of my booking. Given the considerable issues with the camper this should have been closer to 50%. One of the staff suggested this camper should never have been rented to the public it was in such poor condition. The bedding pack provided was old and ratty and pillows were in very bad condition. I would keep away from Indie Campers at all costs until they fix their fleet and fix their poor customer service!

I’ve heard people talk about Minnesota ice and Minnesota nice. Honestly, it sounds like the Seattle freeze. I’m from WA state, and I was lucky to have never been met with hostility, and I assume it’s the same over in MN. This is advice I follow when it comes to moving anywhere, really- don’t be a dick, try to experience the local culture as much as you can and be open to suggestions. Never gone wrong with that so far.
