- Looking into renting a camper van in Utah? Look no further, Indie Campers in my opinion is the best company to book with.
We went with the Solis van for a few reasons, but the top reason was that it had a bathroom. It was one of the only companies with that option, and it came in handy during those late nights. The Solis was exactly what we needed for a week, and there was so much more space than expected. I highly suggest renting a camper van if you're taking a road trip.

Loved spending a week in this Solis Indie Camper! Would you spend a week in this van?
Helpful video! You reviewing your experience as a renter. I just purchased a solis to use as a rv rental. I was curious if there was anything you were lacking or wished was provided optional to you as a renter. The solis does have good storage space. My concern is I do not want to over outfit it and leave the renter with little space for their personal items.
Ok so watching this made we realize we NEED to do this again! Next up: Wyoming and Montana?

Thank you so much for watching! Nope! No special license for this van! This model uses regular unleaded gas too!
Hi me and a friend were hoping to rent this for a roadtrip around cali and were wondering how often would you be refilling the gas and the water tank and also emptying the grey water?
Hi! I'm so excited for you! You will have so much fun! It really depends on how far and fast you drive. This is an 18 gal tank. We filled up 3 times I think. And for the water it again depends on how much you let the water run. We filled and emptied it 3 x for a week. But we also did not take any showers either.
Did they sponsor you? Or did you get paid in any way? I am looking to rent from this company, but they have some very concerning reviews. None are for this area though. Trying to make a smart decision as a solo camper..
Does the fridge stay cold when the car is off?
Yes it does! It is charged by either hard wiring to an electrical source or by solar power!
About how much a day/wk?
Its about $140/day!
Very disappointing experience with this clown show of an operation. Van was in very very poor repair with fittings and fixtures broke on not in operation. Basics like window blinds were broken or inoperable. The air-conditioning in the truck part of the van was in need of service as it blew hot air. The staff on the ground were friendly but they had no power to service customers. Upon submitting a concern I was given a refund of about 10% of my booking. Given the considerable issues with the camper this should have been closer to 50%. One of the staff suggested this camper should never have been rented to the public it was in such poor condition. The bedding pack provided was old and ratty and pillows were in very bad condition.
I would keep away from Indie Campers at all costs until they fix their fleet and fix their poor customer service!
