7:47 oh please 20% roi investments are easy for an average joe, bank bonuses, example: deposit 10,000 keep it in a new account for 3 months and get $500-181.25= 12.93% rate of return pre tax interest or effective 20.28% rate of return with relatively 0 risk before tax deductible 🤷🏾‍♂️

Sharon, I want to say I really like your channel and am always learning something valuable in your videos. That said, I slightly disagree with you regarding traditional banks. They're leveraging 90% of our hard earned money deposited in them. They invest on the margin in cash value life insurance policies and other more lucrative instruments. We've been conditioned to use them for almost all our financial needs but we can do so much better.

Lol, an old argument of mine with many people. Your home is a liability. It is not an asset. BUT, it is the one liability where there is no wrong choice. Its perfectly fine for the emotional aspects to sway the choice. If they want to grow old with their spouse in a house filled with memories like the old guy in the movie UP, then go for it. Even Warren Buffett has a house. Now iif you buy a house you cant afford….well, thats your wrong choice.

Thank you so much for this informative video Sharon. Could you please explain the last part of the video, the table, In state personal return tax calculation, how did we arrive at $25,000 state personal income tax due. Can the entire PTET tax be taken as credit. Suppose the state personal income tax due is 35,000, Tax due ( 35000-25000= 10000) is this correct. Can you give example of both federal 1040 and CA 1040 of the partner. So that it would be more clear..

I’m having a hard time understanding the “never pay it off” strategy. Presumably the lender wants to make their money at some point. Is it just up to your heirs to pay it off with their inheritance? Will banks just lend you money forever and not ever expect anything in return?

This is very well articulated and explained. Thank you! One question: if one moves his passive investment (e.g. stocks/bonds/mutual funds) from his investment account under his own name to a WY LLC owned by him, is the distribution considered taxable income to him in the year he takes a distribution? If so, that tax will be additional tax that he wouldn’t have to pay if he simply left the investment account under his own name. Is that right?

What about keeping all of your assets in a trust. Seems to me that passing your assets to heirs is much easier in a trust. But then the trust owns the asset and never dies. Does the step up in basis never come into play with a trust?

Therefore, these people are unable work on the day-to-day activities of the company?? Is that correct? So was Peter Thiel able to work at PayPal in any capacity??? Thanks for any insights.

This strategy as presented here would definitely appeal to many people, women especially appreciate this cute and simple presentation. You're however omitting a lot of important details. You present it like BBD can be done in one afternoon and for ever after people can draw money out and spend as they please. You've heard of some phrases and it's helpful that you mention them here and there to introduce people to them. 1. Wealthy can do BBD because they have massive inter-generational assets to borrow against. People started big businesses like Besos and Musk can do BBD because they can get more equity(shares in the business) in lieu of salary to avoid income tax 2. BBD best works for real estate assets. Borrowing long term against stocks is too expensive and high risk. Interest rates for lending against shares is much higher and "Margin Call" can come at any moment giving less than 24h notice. BBD also works well for rapidly appreciating assets. 3. You don't amplify interest needs to be paid on borrowed amounts 4. If you can borrow max 50% of your assets then use it to invest in another asset then borrow again 50% of that, then overall you've borrowed maximum 75% of your total assets plus a lot of fees taking out two loans plus created 2 sources for dreaded margin calls

Been doing this for the last 65 years. Do rentals first. Get double tax exemptions. Quadruple tax write-off, if one counts #1 Deprecation (really only good for 10 years because of inflation, basis do not change) #2 Loan interest is tax deductible, even on commercial RE. #3 Low cost rentals often are RE taxed less (depending on region). #4 Repairs, materials, utilities, management, RE taxes, all write-offs. In my retirement, (I'm 89) Farming has all the benefits of low cost residential plus more AG tax benefits then I have room for here.
