This is by far the best financial channel on youtube. Please keep it up. You are dropping some good esoteric knowledge while most channels just repeat the same boring information in new ways. Love your videos on SBLOCs as an example.

I would think Bonds are more for preserving wealth, not necessarily gaining wealth.

What about bond closed end funds such as PIMCO Corporate Income ticker PCN as an example?

Do you need to differentiate based on a persons total assets and age? Definitely if you’re young bonds are not the right investment. I mean it’s no secret that over the long run stocks performed better than bonds.

Interesting. When I began investing in the early 90s, stocks rocked. In the mid 90s I thought "Hey, all these talking heads are talking about stocks and BONDS." Figured I needed to investigate...after 6 months of study I thought "that's not a good long-term investment." Fast forward 25 years, still stick with my analysis.

Very smart! I was lucky enough to have a financially savvy father who taught me not to invest in bonds.

I only started looking at bonds since social media is brainwashing everyone into thinking a recession is imminent. I've missed out on a nice rally this year. The yield curve inversion isn't very comforting, though.

I never invest based on what wall street and the bankers are predicting. Based on history, when the finance people all start screaming about something that's going to happen - you can usually bet the opposite.

The returns are less than the real inflation/fiat currency debasement rates.
    You need hard assets.

Can you speak on high yield investments like YieldMax products? Covered call derivatives and the like.

Not even 5.4% (as of today) T-Bills that are state and local tax exempt investments? The tax equivalent yield is 6-7%.
