That’s wicked
congratulations nice ram and caribou , love the videos , than you for sharing and God Bless .
@@zeldarobinson3382 thanks for the kind words
There is trapped methane gas under the ice sheet sometimes no cigs while doing the drill thing ..
It’s almost as if nature was like, ok now you have a hole, you just need a ball and a club. Put ball in hole with club, see?
Don't mess with mother nature 😅
Well how thick was it ?
@@JustinMiales 3”
That's a great sound. 😲
Right!?
The ice cracks and makes crazy sounds whene it’s freezing thicker and building ice. Life on Oneida lake New York
Sure does!
Perfectly normal sounds of ice growing thicker on the autumn.
Could be!
no safety equipment what so ever ...idiots !
I remember the tong tong tong tong tong tong tong sounds walking across the lake by my house down the street that used to freeze over in the 70s and 80s. I used to ride my dirtbike across that lake. People would rather their jeeps and snowmobiles. We would play hockey and ice skate. Sometimes you get that NGTONGTONGTONG and you could literally feel it in your body on that eyes. It was so scary, but it was cool. I am extremely lucky to still be alive. Fell through that ice a few times near the shore thankfully, it was scary in the middle and you it said Tong tong tong tong!
@@troypowell2403 it is scary!
Is there any hunting license required in alaska for hunting sheep
@@vidoesmarket2090 yes. License and a tag! Nonresidents have to hunt sheep with a guide as well.
@ licence price
That a lot of ice pressure!
I think so!
Remember walking with my mom one day on the lake when we heard a really loud sound similar to the one in the video. And I swear I’ve never seen my mom look so scared in my life.
It is scary!
try skipping a rock over a pond or lake. "cool vibes".
That does have some cool vibes
aint nature great?
Sure is
That's definetly some X-files shenanigans, am out 👋
Lol
Echo
Echo
Yep that’s the noise all of us ice fishermen are aquatinted with it’s actually pretty cool and scary at the same time.
Sure is
🎶Fat man in a little coat🎵 - Chris Farley
lol
Where's Dad.....👴
He’s around haha
Get off the ice you fool
Lol
Up in Maine, the lakes groan and make loud popping sounds all the time. Just worry when you don't hear them.. Ice houses, pickups, people, etc end up taking an ice-bath..
Not good!
The ice gods were angry that day my friends.
I think so
Guess what?! Not season yet! lol
Nope! Haha
Haha he's looking to find out the hard way lol
Lol
Y’all should get some kind of microphone and put it on the ground so we can hear the noise after you drill
Yeah might work
Singing ice Got to hear that in Norway….. amazing
So cool
About same noise i have heard before😄just extended..miss that sound after moving to florida..no more frozen lakes..or snow!😂
Sorry to hear that, you’ll never drag me away from Alaska!
That is normal ice noise deflection from the ice being a complete solid sheet it's perfect conditions, drilling the ice created a sound wave deflection from the ice distressing from the drilling , it also occurs at night Naturally when the temperature drops and the ice expands heaving upward, its really cool events.
Could be!
This guy must be related to Scrat from ice age.
Most definitely lol
Opie isn't smart enough to get off the ice. But looks like the guy from the movie deliverance.
Lol
That happens completely at random when you live on a frozen body of water, whenever the freeze is getting thicker.
It happened every single time we drilled a hole
I know you got to go where the fish are, but I'm not sure I could drill into a lake that I know is more than a few feet deep.
We knew it was shallow here
First time on the ice huh
No

@@drawsawyer5881 I got several other shorts on my channel!
Sounds similar to a wave moving through sheet metal
It does!
Dumb
All that fireweed makes me miss Alaska! Great channel! Definitely subcribing!
Thanks for the sub!
Theres videos of people ice skating in Scandinavia somewhere i think and its making that noise. Its the sound echoing of the top of the ice
Super cool
We gotta get my dad... wait.. not till i die first😂😂
Lol
The cracking and echoing we used to hear on Lake Diefenbaker and the ice was 3 feet thick
Dang!
LoL nature's sonar
Right!,
Ice sings like that when it forms
It can
@@BackcountryAlaska it does at my house
That is a wild sound when you hear it very cool the way it travels
Was way cool
Frozen lakes often have pronounced cracking sounds from time to time. You have to figure out, is it meaningful, or not?
I honestly don’t know
