Just swapped my 2010 gt500s supercharger with a 2.3 tvs from a 2013 with only 14k miles on it. Still on the stock pulley but I am running the vmp twin 67mm throttle body, airrade cai, and catless xpipe. It runs great and is definitly a huge improvement over the stock m122 and a pretty cheap swap.

Just showing off my new trinity 2.3 blower off a 2013 shelby gt500 and seeing what it will do. Still just a blower swap with the stock pulley. Has the airade cold air and the catless xpipe with the vmp twin 67mm throttle body. It feels like a new car!

This car has come a long way since I got it. It was already swapped but had so many problems. Running a p75 ecu still runs pretty good. Shorty intake Header and exhaust(stock cat) Its coming along

Due to some complications we only got in one pass at the track but it was still a blast. Next weekend we are headed back down to see if we can shave down that time. Mods: airade cai Catless x-pipe with flows 2.5" pulley Vmp tuned

After a long time considering pulling the stripes off the gt500 I finally decided to pull the trigger. It turned out even better than i had hoped and i absolutely love it. Stay tuned to see the finished product! Sorry I didn't get very much footage of actually removing the stripes. I had some technical difficulties!

Its a cool and fun little truck. Definitly quicker than a stock 5.3.

Mine is trippin out when I close the door the window doesn’t go all the way at up . After a few minutes of driving it fixed itself but I wanna fix this

I don't know why 3rd gear is not short enough, at least in 3rd gear it is already 4700 rpm, if someone says this is 4 speed, but yes this is 4 speed performance, the gear ratio distance is quite far, but at least it is directed correctly to get maximum power rpm

Ford makes the coyotes look with limiters because they want you to buy after market tuners and performance parts but there is so much power in coyotes if the didn't put limiters you would never buy tuners and after market parts every body working with everyone to make money!!!!!!!!
Looks sick, that deep impact blue or maybe Kona blue. Awesome! Someone specked out the 2010 GT500 I’m looking at with silver stripes and red color! It looks horrible and the only way I would consider buying it is with a stripe/vinyl delete and making it fully red. So I started to search for videos like yours and I’m glad I found this!

I have found DCT fluid to be the best “in between” gear oil/ATF hybrid, to go into the Tremec TR-6060. I know GL-4 70W - 75w-80 is probably the best all-around weight to run for gear oil. Viscosity is also fairly important because the weight for certain oils and fluids, is more of a general measurement/range assigned to them. For example, you could have an ATF that’s rated at Dexron III, that could be thicker than a GL-4 75w-85 gear oil, at room temperature. I’ve personally tried a fair number of ATF’s and gear oils (GL-4) in the ~6.5-7.25 CST viscosity range, but even those don’t always hold up to spirited driving; certainly not even track driving or drag racing, unfortunately.. I’ve found anything around the ~7.75-9.5 cst viscosity range to be the best for hard(er) driving. It also varies, since certain ATF’s and gear oils shear down differently than others, even with similar oil weight ratings and such. If you do live in a COLD climate, however; with it being cold more than 50% of the time, you’d be better off sticking to ATF, no thicker than around a ~8-8.5 cst rating. This is assuming you’d even be able to have such a car in an environment, and also be able to get it up to operating temps and drive it hard. Something like a 75w-85 or heavier gear oil, is going to barely shift on cold starts, and most likely even lock you out and grind if you try to shift too quick or at too high of an RPM… For hotter climates, it might be okay; or for strictly track driving, with proper warmup driving.

Did you have the stock/factory driveshaft in this video? Also do the 5.0s have any driveshaft failures or issues going higher speeds or are the driveshaft issues mainly in the v6s?
This one had a 1 piece Driveshaft. They say the stock 2 piece driveshaft can be an issue.
@@middickmotors6019i just put in a one piece. my two piece exploded doing a dig with launch control at 3k rpm. definitely recommend changing that asap to a one piece

That boost gauge is why I love Superchargers over Turbos. Full Throttle any gear any RPM and its making full boost in less than half a second.

I’ll change my rear end from 2.73 to 3.55… Do I still have to go through the tire measurement and all that if I have the same tires on or will it automatically set the speedometer when I change the rear end ratio?

Why do people adjust 2 valve on the whole video ? Every video people does 2 valve, people are more interested in doing the valve procedure in order . They want to know when to do the next valve adjustment

Looks better than what it was to begin with but still looks very cloudy, how can you fix that?
It hard to tell in the video but it actually looked very clear. However I've found that wet sanding with 1500 grit and then spraying the lens coat or clear coat over it makes it so much better!
I've always found these cars quite weird. Chevy really did put on a 4 speed archaic torque converter automatic on a purpose built sports car that had a transaxle and a torque tube. No hate definetly, just a weird choice and I admire how different it is. On the other hand, if Chevy really wanted a base corvette that has a 4 speed for an average 60 year old buyer, he probably didnt care about handling and other sports car elements. So chevy could have completely ditched the torque tube idea and made a conventional transmission attached to a 3/4 link live axle rear, I know it would be costly to redesing the cars some areas but MSRP would be down to 7-8k lower, which would mean more sales.
