Thank you for joining me on my rambles through the great outdoors. This channel is a way to share my love of nature with family & friends. Getting outside rejuvenates me. I enjoy hiking & backpacking, which will be the main focus of this channel. But if you’ve arrived here seeking an outdoor expert, this isn’t the channel for you. I’m not particularly athletic. You won’t see me run a marathon or attempt a fastest known time. I’m a somewhat uncoordinated, middle-aged woman with a family & a full-time job. But that’s the point. Life can be demanding & stressful, but time outdoors revives me and improves my physical & mental health.
Also, starting a RUclips channel is providing me with a personal challenge as it’s way outside my comfort zone. I prefer to be behind the camera like a National Geographic photographer. I’m an introvert, I shy away from the limelight, and I’ve never been on stage. Although I’ll never be a RUclips sensation I hope you will join me on my adventures in nature.
