As Egyptian where i advice u to visit Cairo 3 days 1-grand museum of giza 2- pyramids of giza" end of day 1" 3- the Islamic cairo el mozz street "should be at morning" 4-moaa el adyan "end of day2" 5- free food tour around cairo "things you should tree breakfast cart .. koshri .. bbq mix at bbq restaurant 1/4 kilo mixed bbq+rice , tagan and molokiah , visit local juice shops try sugar can juice and mango juice and if u brave try komblah "the boomb" ... For dinner try shawarma "Egyptian meat shawarma" or Syrian chicken shawarma.. Day 4- leave to siwah for sand bath experience its good place if u need to cill and do nothing.. or head to aswan "my favorite place in Egypt" In aswan visit Nubian they are cool people u may take ship trip to luxor and visit valley of the kings ... Use the sleeping train to go back to Alexander 2 days in Alexandria dont forget to visit local the local fish market and ask local "people not the shop" recommend fish dish "u will buy fish and cook it in the market .. travel to marsa alam or hurdgah or sharm el shik or dahab .. Dahab had western life style Sharm and hurdgah had very nice hotels things to explore Marsah allam had the most underwater diving locations This cover most of Egypt if u are interested.. Recommendations "if u had friend from countryside try to visit Egyptian countryside for day or 2 "

You’ll be ok. Unlike Colombia most speak Arabic and some speak English. Places to check out Alexandria city and library, Giza pyramids, Sphinx,obviously the great Nile river. They have some of the best shisha and shy which means tea, molokaya is a local delicacy. It very dry heat, so any kind of shades help. They very helpful but beware they try to work your pockets like anywhere else. Enjoy yourself brother. Arabs love

Working from home is a recipe for cabin fever. I did that for years. You have to get out and do stuff. When I was there I went to some Meetup events. If you're an American, locals will think you're rich. I'm from Texas too. It's gotten a lot more expensive here. Too many people coming here and not enough housing, much like Medellin, come to think about it. Numbeo says it's cheaper to live in Bogota nowadays. That was not the case 7 years ago when I was there.

*Good video. I just returned from Medellin last Monday. Medellin (Colombia) was my 36th country and I still paid tourist prices for drinks. Like he said, foreigners are ATMs. As for prices on rent, I live in Manhattan NY. $4600 per month for a 620 square ft one bedroom. I say that to say Medellin is cheap. Even a $4k apartment in Medellin would be a mansion rather than a box. My question is the women! My friend who lives there hooked me up with this chick. She didn’t ask for money and hasn’t asked since I’ve returned to NYC. What are the warning signs? Asking for money can’t be a warning sign because American women demand 6 figures, Birkin bags, trips and more*

I have a solution to the crime/dishonesty/taking advantage of tourists problem in Colombia. Actually, my wife, who was born and raised in Colombia, came up with and advocates for this solution. Stop going there. Period. Instead, go to a place like El Salvador, which has amazing beaches, or even Guatemala, which although more dangerous than El Salvador, is safer than Colombia. Or, even the usual places like Costa Rica and Panama. But, if you really insist on going to South America, and it's your first time, then consider Uruguay or even Argentina. Bottom line is that there is no such thing as a completely safe place anywhere in the world, so use common sense folks. But Colombia is truly out of control right now, especially with the criminals targeting naive tourists. Final point, both my wife and I have lived in Colombia, that's where we met, but given the current situation, both socially and politically, we have canceled our plans to go during Christmas.

This popped up on my feed and I had to comment. What the colombiana said in the comments about having money is true. If you don’t have money the interest quickly dwindles. It’s just the reality. Cartagena is not safer than Medellín. Unfortunately the influx of expats looking to meet Colombian women is now changing the dynamic of certain Cities and areas. There is a growing dislike of American men for example here in Medellín because of this dating dynamic. I’ve seen it, I’ve heard colombianos talk about it and have also talked to American men who have Colombian girlfriends complain about it. And lastly it’s COLOMBIA not Columbia.

Medellin is no more a place to live in Colombia , there are better cities and less expensive and very nice than Medellin , like Manizalez , Armenia , Pereira , Sta Marta , Barranquilla and others , also they are safe and alot less money to live and people is also very nice !!, Medellin is loosing tourist because became more expensive and impossible to live in because the prices are very high ; well my reconmendation is to move to another city in Colombia or Brazil is also nice or Argentine or Uruguay ;

I love your videos. I have my residency in Mexico. Just spent one month in Lena Peru, and now I am in Medellin. i’m floored by the beautiful nature and green velvety colors. I love the rain showers that passed through because that’s what keeps it so beautiful and lush. The people I’ve met so far are very welcoming and kind. To your point about life here I’m well aware of the dangers of living in a larger city, especially in Latin America. Just have to keep your head on straight. My favorite quote recently is this. I’d rather die on my feet than live a full life on my knees. that’s how I feel in the USA.

Glad you not seriously hurt, this is a tough case imo but you drifting from the right lane to the left lane is kinda equivalent to switching lanes in a car and not checking your blind spot and then getting hit by a fastly approaching car in the far left lane. If he was already in the left lane yet accelerating quickly maybe faster than the speed limit and you drift into his lane going slower he would still hit you in the rear but how would that not be your fault for drifting into his lane and not checking if its safe or not? All that being said I think 50/50 fault is fair you did drift into his lane and he probably could have slammed on his brakes or been more careful since he was able to see you the entire time. You could have won 100% on a technicality with the policia tho, I used to drive a lot on the road and lane drifters initiate a lot of crashes putting too much responsibility on others to dodge them.
