The pilot jet is on top of the carb. have to remove the plastic idle adjustment screw to slide it out of the carb body.

These engines are mass produced. briggs, kohler, etc. all same. Only product changes are the decal name. 🥱 cyl.hds. are their weak point.

The idle jet is the top of the carburetor, it's the black piece by the throttle adjustment screw. I'd say three pulls.

That sound is head gasket and robbing power

The key way groove on the crank is an indicator for top dead canter once it faces to the valve cover. For the squeaking noise, you can remove the belt and run it.

The sqeaking could be from the head gasket not sealing, nice video btw

highly recommend an aftermarket camshaft. the hot 265 cam is designed for 20lb springs. i have it in my bike with 22lb springs and it really boosts the top end power.

Nice work. Next time you tap a through hole, fill the tap flutes with grease, this will trap all the swarf and keep the crank case clean.

Try mothers back to black. Just clean the machine and polish it in, the seat the plastic parts everything. I had an old JAG like that and it made it look new again.
