This all seems too early to be 1992. Maybe 1994. I stopped going when all the breakbeat hardcore started. 1990 - 1992 was the peak for me personally.

"Dub War" for me is the greatest hardcore tune there is, it's uplifting without being cheesy, it's so well-produced and thoughtful, but without ever being chin-stroking or up its own arse. Just bliss from start to finish.

I was 12 in 92 & didn't get to my 1st rave until the late 90's. Until then, i was into the usual dance tunes. A good mate was a raver & told me i would love it. He was right. I was hooked from the minute i walked/floated in !!! Dizstruxshon, Uprising, Fantasy Island ( new yrs eve,1st 1 after reopening, it snowed bad),Revolution. Banging times. Whenever i listen to any of the old sets, i get goosebumps all over & giddy like a kid (now 44) ✌🏼. Alright, who took my flyer collection ? 👀 🤔 😤

What to say about that?!?... 92 was the best, so many avenues with beats,vocals, pianos,bleeps and later on... Flirtation with darkness... Just brilliant...Energizer ripped the floor up, Basement records with the heartbeat,XL with the muscle....And like you, perfect description and ending with Dub War ( What an Ep by the way)....Will always bring a tear to my eye, just magical.... Brilliant work this,love your work

Huh. Never knew that I Feel The Heat track was my Urban Hype.

I've spent the past 30 years looking for a track I heard one evening without any luck. It sounded like the sample of a vehicle ignition but unfortunately that's all I remember. 😂

1992. My favourite year. Awesome parties. Fantazia and universe parties were epic. I live just up the road from Tribal Gathering so it was easy to get to. Wish I could go back. Rave on. Big up the OG Goldiggerz crew. Subscribed.

Great vid. Absolute love Dream Finder for all the craziness stabbiness at the start (and the difference from the original). Frustrates me a bit in the second half (after where you pull it off) as it drifts off a bit. Still an absolute banger. 12:51 That stab is one of my absolute favourites from the era. Confrontational, edgy, rude, minor key. Also on Trip2T I love the "suddenly" sample dropped in. Little things, innit. 28:19 With that peek of a simple you've just reminded me of G-Double-E 'Fire When Ready' which I haven't heard in an age. Top work Jake.

In my opinion the best days of Hardcore was from 1990 -1991...That's when the changeover from House to Hardcore was seeing an introduction to faster BPM'S....Like the beginnings of House like Trax Records from Chicago where it was all a bit experimental with quick production outputs added with a ready but very raw sound, Hardcore was transitioning to a faster but experimental sound too...Way too many tracks to mention but i do have fond memories being one of the first Pirate Radio dj's playing a hardcore only genre set on Pulse FM 90.6 based in Hackney throwing down beats that i'd bought the night before from Nick Power at his shop MUSIC POWER in green lanes Haringey in 1991.... Incidentally, MUSIC POWER was where PULSE FM was born and Nick decided to get the tracks heard to the masses because of such high demand and that was the reason we started a pirate station in the first place...A good example of a track that incorporated that early hardcore flavour was Satin Storm's SWEAT from 1990.... ruclips.net/video/ijM3vIUT6Fs/видео.html Whenever i played that track my pager was going off proper radio rental mental with shouts and requests for a rewind lol....I was 27 then, i'm now 60 ffs and in all honesty my mind has'nt moved on, or left those lovely days of real dance power to give it proper large on the dancefloors at places like Dungeons, Roller Express, Wonderland etc...

That Dreamfinder remix always tricks me into thinking it's a remix of Prodigy's Charly or Wind it Up whenever I hear it coming in. Such an early Prodigy vibe.

That Mega 2 one had me thrown for a loop and gpt me looking thru my mp3 collection, and sure enough there was a tune on whitehouse by a Mega 4 (same guys?) called drop it. Reminds me of another great tune with the same name, Drop It by 3 Steps Ahead (RIP) on Pengo, I always liked to play that to get the day started while I was waiting was for the bus just after dawn when I had early shifts at my old job.

Always remember a song called a juicy red apple by skin up, will likely never hear that one again.

Dance Comspiracy has one of the best Rushes known to man and Energizer 2 part you played is my favourite all time tune it stands alone. I was 17 in 1988 so bang in the right time. 1988-93 was second to none for tunes, fashion, long hair, lycra! HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE!

I'm looking for a tune that has the piano riff from Let me show you by K-Klass played alot faster than the original over a pounding techno beat, would have been about 93 by my estimation..
