I've always said that Flick protecting Lewa will cost us alot in big game. Now Flick is playing more defensive than he would like(kinda like Xavi did). Balde needs to be fed long balls behind the defense, his cutbacks are lethal. He needs to be the winger he was when he was young. Xavi showed what he can be given the freedom to go up higher. For me Ansu can do more with the ball than Ferran can, he just needs time

Its not about fitting ferran torres and getting output from him, he is just using ferran inorder to give rest to our forwards and to avoid injuries.The same role will be done by raphinha with output once olmo is back.

This tactics is great but only works if our attack is lethal with our chances, we saw that against osasuna where we dominated but were killed on the counter, our best attackers must start every match and kill the game early then they can be rested and hopefully it would be easier with the return of olmo

It was a really risky line up made by Flick, too many Young non experience players leads to a loose,but it was necessary for the young boys game. At least the derby serves us . still +3

Nah, I don't blame Flick at all. This isn't done on a whim, there is obviously science behind resting Rapinha, Yamal, Inigo, Balde and Casado. 4 games in 10 days, then 3 days later, another one coming. There is no doubt on my mind the sports science department have said those guys are in danger. When you add we missing 8 or 9 other guys who would be either starting on close to starting, you can't risk losing any more. Martinez and Yamal were limping off the field in recent games and the amount of high distance sprints Raphina is doing, together with Balde history of injury, this all makes sense to me. If you want to blame anyone for having to use such weak players as Garcia as a pivot, Torres starting 3 games in a row, 2 defenders who played 3rd division last season and a winger hasn't even played top flight football at 22 years of age.... If you have to blame someone, blame Deco, the club and the moronic fans who support such decisions. They let Faye go, knowing Christensen and Araujo are injury prone and we have 1 left foot centerback who could even play leftback. They didn't bring back or even replace Cancelo at all. Every man, woman and child said we needed a new pivot. Bernal, a miracle pivot who stepped up to levels nobody expected. They don't have anyone else behind him despite his age. Already a mistake. But worse he got hurt, going to miss the entire season... And they still don't find a solution. Felix gone, Ansu replaces him, fine. Vitor Roque gone, Marc Guiu gone... No replacement. Spent the summer going for Nico, couldn't get him... No back up plan. I am sure they have their reasons, long and short term, so be it. But the squad they have left Flick with as a joke, somehow weaker than last season. He is just that good, it doesn't matter right now. But that can't last when you are playing this amount of games.

1. Osasuna away is always hard. This is one of Laliga’s bogey games. Flick perhaps underrated them. 2. Eric Garcia isn’t composed as a defender, let alone in midfield. Playing him at DM is not wise. 3. We cannot win a title with Inaki Pena in goal. In a game like this some saves were needed. He isn’t big team match winning quality.
