Good info, the only thing I would have added is a quick view under the hood so people can see it by the battery. KIM that it could be bad and look great. Mine was 2 years old and died in the AZ heat and it was OEM!

Thank you very much for this video. I have been owned a lifted Hilux for more than 12 years to find out why the brakes are bad. Just jacked up the vehicle and tried to stall the engine in 1st gear. Adjusted the lever higher until it had brake power in the rear. I did a road test, and it is fine now.

Was watching this and had a thought. Maybe leaving that oil seal out is some sort of a hack. Leave it out and it keeps the top keyed pin part lubricated and stops it wearing out? Just a thought.

I had no idea there were three fusible links. I have only one connected directly to the battery as a backup. I'll need to look into those other fusible links. Thanks for the explanation makes a lot of sense.

Ecu is not getting power. Fusible links would be the statisticians first place to start

Fuel pump failure

Check the 3 wires/plug on the side of the distributor. I had this exact issue couple weeks ago bc a corroded wire finally failed. But I had fuel pressure and troubleshot to figure it was a spark issue

How much?

Distributor unplugged or corroded, or bad fuel pump.

No check engine light so it will never fire up. Most likely burnt up terminal when u pull the efi relay
