It's amazing how Brendan has become such a phenomenal speaker he used to hold back a lot in the beginning when he started visiting Mpumy's channel now he's unpacking a lot I love it.
RUclips is like that. First time behind the camera we hold back and are self conscious about our views and how they will be met but then as time goes we relax and become mostly ourselves 😁.
Brendens perspective on life is admirable ☺️. It's easy going. When all you do is worry n be anxious about life, encountering someone with an easy perspective is admirable. 'succeeded at failing'
When my husband and i disagree on something to make sure that no takes it personally. We always start first by saying "this is not a love you or don't love you conversation". Then everything goes well after that. I love love #ourloveourney
The wisdom here😭😭 I keep learning and evolving as a person daily. And definitely working towards being the person who I would like to see succeed in a relationship. I really hope my unknown future husband watches your channel😍I hope he is growing as much as I am, wherever he is.
I had to watch this again...Brenden is the kind of man that would help his woman, Mpoomy maximise her potential to the fullest and allow her take all the credits for it. That's a very uncommon quality to have. He's a leader.
What I love about you guys is the authenticity. You guys are so real. “Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction?” Amos 3:3 NLT My wife and I really had a challenge with this one because what make us great is our uniqueness but that automatically means we won’t agree on EVERYTHING. And I have really avoided using the “I’m the man” card because it’s not constructive and it lacks wisdom. I think the subtle misconception is that becoming one means we’ll always prefer each other’s decisions but in two years of marriage I have realised that being one is more than about liking another person’s preference it’s about respecting their views and supporting them on things you may not like and sometimes on things you don’t agree with😬 Now as Brenden said on certain things it’s very important to agree and what popped in my mind is parenting. Because it’s one area I think we really have to be in agreement. URGENT vs IMPORTANT I think the kitchen one vs the 2 hour meeting boils down to which is one is urgent because you may be faced with two very important decisions or tasks but urgency should help us make decisions at least. Please keep doing what you’re doing guys. Your content helps us grow and I’m trying to get my wife to watch you guys but ke…it’s another story😄
Being a young Christian women and learning and preparing myself for future is so important thank you guys for showing us really what to look out for and what's good in marriages doing it the Godly way 🙏
12:40-13:00+ Guys Brenden his a man of his word. Previous podcast where they spoke about Boundaries he mentioned the exact same thing his talking about now. He respects your feelings/ decisions making and the only thing he can do is To allow you do you and when opinion ask he will just confirm with what your feeling until you ask his advice 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Guys give this Man a Bells 🥂
I thoroughly loved this episode. It was so real and authentic, ya'll also disagreed a bit in the beginning like how normal couples do. It shows it wasn't rehearsed this is just you guys in your realest form. Love it
This definitely has to be one video where Brendan #PUT_HIS_FOOT_DOWN!!. Mrs Mom your one lucky women. I'm sorry but I am praying for a man with such inner calmness. I'm so emotional and undesicive... Lord knows I need a man who will trust and allow me enough space to #fail. Simply becomes I'm that hard on myself. Mrs Mom the perfectionist, Mr Dad the Leader. #Lead_Indoda. You started that channel knowing what your women can become! !. #Wooow
How Brenden unpacked the perfect context for agreeing verses disagreeing was impactful 🙌🏿. His methods have matured like fine wine. Love how Mpumi listens in like it’s the first time, she’s receiving these 💎.
Wow! This conversation is so enlightening, this is a good way to navigate roles in relationships. Also in the boundary context and being respectful not to overstep! Love this!
This episode helped me a lot I’m a newlywed and chile I’m struggling but it’s only now that I’m actually realising that I take everything very personally and when my husband disagrees with me I think he hates me and I’m naturally a born leader I struggle with trusting the other person’s views and actions…God help me. Thank you guys for this podcast 🙏🏾
I love what Brenden was saying about how to see if you should hold onto a relationship. Our relationship over our ego is so important for lasting relationships 🙏🏽
Yah No. I’m definitely the “Brenden” in my relationship. After many months of following this journey with the two of you. My husband is much of a “Mpoomy” and I must say this podcast has honestly helped me navigate through a lot of things that would have otherwise killed me dead if I didn’t stop to apply my mind and put myself outside of the situation. Not to say without the podcast I wouldn’t know how to juggle things but it has helped me better approach situations that would have otherwise required TOO MUCH from me to dissect. I love what you’re doing. It’s so beautiful to watch you both grow and share yourselves , experiences and lessons with us.♥️ God bless this union forever & always.
This video was everything! 😍😍❤️ I feel like by the time I get married I'll have all the tips tbh 😂 I'll just have to ask my partner to watch these videos too khona sizoba Shap!🥳❤️
Wooooow woooow, Such a powerful conversation.I mean I took a whole lot of lessons from this video, but the one thing that was a "AHA" moment to me was when Brendan talked about you should allow a person to mess up and do what they can possibly do,without judging or showing them some negativity in the whole process. You know sometimes we just wanna bash some people's ideas because to us they look lame, but well if that person is doing whatever he/she is doing by the lead of their intuition, then they have already won, even if they lose, they have won in their losing. Its not always that we have to control or disagree, but all we could ever do is silently watch😃 Man,this was such a powerful thought, and thank you for that🥺🌟 "LET PEOPLE BE"
This is a beautiful conversation. The beauty of our differences as male and female and also as individuals yet so beautiful when we come together for a common goal. Brenden coming up with so much punches 👊. We appreciate you both guys, Amazing people you are!
I love how this topic is relevant to all kinds of relationships, parent and child, friendships, romantic relationships, siblings ect. This has to be my best topic and video ever. You guys were so real and raw here. Thank you to the both of you for these conversations. Keep them coming!!
I loved Brandon's perspective in this episode. Letting people be, and allowing them to grow and trusting their decisions. Only give advice when you're asked. Allow ppl to follow their intuition. Constantly affirm people.❤❤❤❤❤ so dope. I'm gonna try this.
Honestly you guys are the bestest. My partner and I love your podcasts. We learn a lot and you keep adding onto our growth as individuals and a couple with each podcast shared. We appreciate you. More Grace. 🙏🙏🙏
This is by far my favorite from you guys❤❤❤. It felt seamless and so authentic. This episode highlights the core values of 'successful' marriages, which is to fully embracing each others differences with love and respect. I love how real you have been in delivering this conversation. Thank you Mrs Mom and husband
Oh my Gosh Brenden, I love how real and authentic you are and how you trust your wife's thinking even when you don't necessarily understand reasons sometimes. Mpoomy you are a darling Sisi and you do you so well, I can honestly relate to how difficult it is being a natural born leader as a woman and how hard it is to hold back and lead everywhere at home. I love you Sisi and please keep up the Good work

Sometimes those hurdles of those passing on the advice were personal to equipping them. You may have to encounter your own (or not) depending what areas need working within you. This was such a rich episode!! 🙌 These are things that actually occur in relationships but I couldn't help but die of laughter when Brenden said "we should take the high road and we should take turns taking the high road, some people take the high road than others 😂😂 - as a wife, I heard you .👍🏾
I loved how authentic this was, its so great that you can be vulnerable enough to speak about your relationship and let us in on how you navigate your issues. enjoyed it.

I learnt so much from this episode. I’m a 24 year old lady who listens and loves taking advice from people that are older then me. Believe it or not I love watching wholesome content like this and family vlogs/ baby vlogs (btw I don’t have a baby), it’s refreshing to grow intellectually from these kinds of conversations, in relation to the transparency date. I do something similar but I call it the “Purity Card” whereby I say to someone “I have a purity card to disclose”, this can range from anything to everything. Just makes it a safer space to disclose our emotions without hurting the other person. I don’t use the purity card often but when I do it’s usually something that has affected me deeply in the long run. So I vote for the transparency date ❤️

True he's a phenomenal speaker. It's usually the ones who hold back who have alot more to share. I'm happy he grew into himself so authentically
Right!!

Very true. He is comfortable and we'll spoken now
Couldn't agree with you more, he used to be shy and Mpoomy would prompt him to talk, look at him now he can hold it down
Really love how Brenden respects people’s ideas and decisions it’s a very rare trait. Goes back to boundaries - love it!
I love that as well, and I believe it is another way of showing your support.
