The shorter stick deals with hours and the longer stick deals with minutes. For e.g if the stick is on the number 5 then the time is 6 something; say the minute hand is on the no. 2 (u multiply 2x5=10) . This is bcuz the minute hand/stick works by multiples of 5. So if the minute hand is on 1 it's 5 past whatever hour the hour hand is on and if it's on three then it's 15 mins. Past whatever hour the hour hand is on. It takes a bit of practice tho. Hope this helps cuz ppl are hella judgemental out here lol 😩

Her problem is just being able to tell what time it is QUICKLY from one look at the watch. That's what she can't do. She counts the hours and minutes from the beginning at 12 of clock everytime
Girl, teach yourself. Its not hard, you just have to put in the effort to learn it. You're on youtube, search some videos on how to tell time. Always work on improving on your weaknesses so you can grow.
Don’t feel bad Adrienne I’m with you! In my elementary school I remember we weren’t taught time until I believe 4th grade and it was a 20 min course for one day and that was it. I don’t ever remember hearing anything about it again. It’s not like certain subjects or issues where they’re repeated over and over year after year so I went through all of my schooling and most of my adult life not being able to read a clock. I just couldn’t for the life of me grasp time. I finally sat down and taught myself ( things change and become priority when you have young minds yourself to mold) and while I can read an analog clock now, I’m still a beat behind. Honestly I feel bad for Adrienne.I was taught time at home since my parents had analog clocks and alarms. I went to a NYC public school also and telling time was taught literally a few days because majority of us in 1st grade knew from home or kindergarten where they teach time.
