No - It's because they don't have mass mental illness running rampant in Japan and most people are like that. That fact that you said 'Literally animal crossing NPC level kindness' is crazy to even say. The concept of even speaking of someone being an NPC is a perfect example of mental illness. Understand that other countries in the world have different life styles and ways of living and their gut health is miles better than an average Americans.
@@ideac. Nomade Raiz, Bald and Bankrupt, Small Brained American, Sabbatical, and Backpack Ben are currently my go-to travel vloggers. Love it how organic and raw their video's are.

apparently the first abandoned hotel you went through ("Furusato Kanko Hotel") closed in 2012 and had been considered haunted, only for the reputation to get even worse when a guy strangled his two kids to death at the neighboring hotel in 2021 before jumping off the fourth floor balcony. anyway, love the videos as always, cheers!
My favorite Atlantan travel RUclipsr. My wife actually thought your subtitle insults were real and said “wow she called him a pussy boy but was so nice about it” 😂
Thanks for having the balls for speaking the truth about India! Over half the nation living in filth, women being sexually assaulted the moment they’re walking alone, but the super nationalists going to act like it’s a utopia. Your blunt honesty (and comedy) is why I’m subscribed
Have been living vicariously through your videos for a whole year now. When the homies and i first discovered the channel we would share screens to binge every new upload on our discord server. Best travel channel on here 🫡
When you stopped at the gas station and staff opened the door asking " how much gas do you want?" You said " A lot! " in Japanese. Totally cracked me up! keep at it dude
Conner! I’ve been following and watching your videos for a couple years now and just wanted to say you are awesome dude. I particularly enjoy how you are always curious about abandoned buildings, and your funny little cut aways (like the pimp my ride one). Also, it’s so helpful when you include snippets of speaking Japanese with locals, as I am studying Japanese right now and it’s really helping. You are super genuine, funny and just all around a great RUclipsr!! Thank you, Arigato gozaimasu!!!
19:00 I know this feeling all too well. Almost two years ago, I was driving up to New York from Miami. Circumstances led me to leave Miami the day that Hurricane Idalia made landfall. It was nothing but clear blue skies all the way up through Florida, but when I hit Georgia…completely different story. From Savannah, Georgia to the middle of North Carolina it was the most treacherous driving I have ever encountered. Luckily, I was the only person dumb enough to be out on I95 (with the exception of a few trucks), so the threat of crashing into another car was slim. However, the amount of downed trees and pond-sized puddles that I had to dodge in the complete darkness was scary as hell. I thought I was going to meet my end quite a few times.
I love your candedness and willingness to complain about places. It's honest and genuinely what travelling feels like. You should visit Romania, you'll never complain more about anything in your life.
So thankful you weren't on the fatal plane crash that just happened. So horrible, only two survived out if 181 passengers. Love your channel and everytime you do a new upload. Safe travels
Thank you for the content Connor. Every time I take a sip of a beer I still do that Japanese commercial man satisfied grin since seeing your videos, always gives me a good laugh. You always brighten my day with every upload. You make such a difference for so many folks, thank you.
These are the best travel vlogs. At least to me. Not censored (mostly) and not socially polite when it's sketchy and sucks. I got divorced and started my travel adventures in Bavaria, but then was hit with a leukemia diagnosis. So as far as traveling and experiencing vicariously, these are top notch for me.. This and Seal.. Gives the honest feel of whatever country and community you are in. Plus the subtitles are absolutely hilarious. Thank you so much for making these vlogs..
@scottporter4524 I truly appreciate that.. It's all good. I've been very fortunate to have been able to experience a lot more in my life than most ever will.. I am incredibly grateful for that. I am by no means done. I will beat this and finish what I started one day.. I am not religious, so I believe in me! Life is what you make it. I wish the rest of society would have the same outlook. Works out though, because places aren't so crowded. Lol. Again I appreciate you. Be safe and enjoy..
Robert I pray you will get to travel and complete everything you have in mind. Your post touched me. I'm so happy that you have had a full life. That is truly a blessing. Take care man and thanks for the positive vibes. 🙏♥️
@@Captain_Clark_CDoryAdventures Thank you.. Means a lot for an absolute stranger have such kind words. I hold on to hope for our global societies because of people like you!! Thank you.
Hi Conner I loved your interaction with the sweet shop lady. How genuine and kind she was. I had a realization about your travels and comparing the India trips to Japan and you were more than willing to tip this nice lady because she offered you a discount just because of the weather, you didn’t have to barter with her or try to talk her down in price. She held a conversation with you and that was all the difference. She didn’t try to take advantage because you’re American. Whereas in India many people want to get over and aren’t friendly or polite. It’s something that stood out even though I know the two countries are nothing alike it’s just the fact that you can tell a lot about a country by its people. ❤ Haha not to be that person but the plague started in Italy lol Also I didn’t know you were from DC!!! Hey neighbor 😎😊
Been watching your videos for like 6 months now, can't wait to see the videos from South Korea! Keep it up man, you're the funniest travel youtuber out there.
Lmmfao!!! You got on the ferry and got excited at no charge. Immediately had an Ozzy Osborn song in my head, but it was "They'll Fee you, Fee you on the other siiiiide, yeah" Dumb I know but when they did I had to laugh..
Hope you guys enjoy Korea! I’ve spent more time in Japan but really loved the time I’ve had in Korea so looking forward to seeing what you come across.
Hey brother, pretty new to your videos and I absolutely couldn’t enjoy them more! I know how much you love Japan, wondering if you’ve been to Okinawa yet? Such an amazing place! You’d have a blast.
I love these videos. Just a guy walking around talking like I would and having no idea where hes going. Been to countries and I do the same things when I travel.
Please never stop making these videos. In late 2023 I started suffering from a horrific skin condition that left me bed ridden for the better part of a year, and though I am getting better now I am still in the thralls of it. These videos have given me an escape like nothing else has and it feels like I am exploring the world with you. You have no idea how important these videos have been to me, keep it up, Connor :)
god, the shop lady is literally animal crossing npc levels of kindness, countryside japan must be super cool
hahaha wtf bro
My mind went to the shop keeper in Persona 4 because the price to buy the fan was cheaper since it was raining.
I thought so, too! I've traveled all over Japan and her level of shopkeep kindness isn't super rare. More like, uncommon. Still special for sure.
This is the future of America. Total nonsense rambling that no one else understands, and no one cares.
