@@AdamandMateBalogh I don't think you'd need to be sorry; that is a pretty good instrument that sounded almost as well in that place as a Steinway would. I bet, also the mouse of the church forgot about its hunger while listening to this awesome, matured performance - so did I! :D
However, I agree with TitusCaesar: if things go this way, both you and your adorable little bro will soon really need an excellent piano, say, a Steinway. So, the question is not you deserv it or not (both you do, of course): you will need that, and that's it! :)

OMG, memories! I used to play that as a kid. Wish I'd had good piano teachers over the 8 years I took lessons. After high school I said that's all the school I can stand, thank you very much. But the piano has been w/ me all my life....decades of composing which I finally hope to start releasing this year. (You'll be surprised!) Meanwhile, I get great joy from your beautiful playing.

BOY!!! am I ever jealous. HAH!! not really. Many years ago in my youth when I used to play piano, I tried playing some Chopin waltzes and this was one of my favorites. But never in a million gazillion years or even in my dreams could I play it like you do. Sightreading is a skill you learn that means reading music you’ve never seen, as closely as possible with shading, meter, etc
We dont sightread pieces with this complexity. We do simpler ones.

Hi Adam. You have it. Now what you really need - and deserve (!) is a Steinway for this. It will allow the rhs treble to lead and weave around the rubatos whilst the lower lhs will enjoy doing it's own thing too. For this a Steinway really allows the party. There's a Patreon challenge. Yes, there is another pianist with the same name.. what a coincidence! This name is definitely not so common! Can cause confusion, grandma called us once earlier that "wow, you play in this and that concert hall? Why didn't you even tell?" We could hardly convince her it was not me... 🤣🤣

Give him a grand piano! Synthesizer is not good for such a talented boy
Probably such performances are being organized not too often in that church, so transporting, carrying, moving and setting a grand piano for these rare occasions would not be worth the time and the effort. But I think, also this electronic instrument that they can easily transport from one place to another, has a surprisingly good sound. However, I completely agree with you - but no worries, as far as I know (mostly from the videos they share), the boys, both Ádám and Máté, can regularly play grand piano as well, so everything is going on a Stein..., well, I mean, on a good way. :)

Again with a little bit of constructive criticism: Next time a video is made at this same church be sure to have the papers on top of piano removed. It detracts for the quality of the video. Your playing again is impeccable but whoever is taping the video needs to make sure there is no clutter on the of piano. I have noticed same thing when you are playing a duet with your little brother, Mate. Thanks and God Bless.
