Pets only scale from our ranged attack power, given that and attack power giving us 1 range and 1 melee attack power I think it's safe to say agility > attackpower > strength
Items 'of the tiger' typically have more stats than simply 'of agility' so it's beneficial to gear in that way, 4agi/4str over 5agi as an example
Items 'of power' usually have a really high amounts of ap and raw ap gives us 1:1 melee attack power and ranged attack power where strength only gives us 1 melee attack power and no range, with survival spec giving us that 20% boost to crit for our raptor strike I generally like to go 2ap > 1 agi > 1str for more melee power over the bit of crit rating but when we get lightning reflexes and end up with 1.35x agility in phase 2 ill be weighing agility higher

Hey! thanks for the comment! From my testing pets do actually scale with strength! That's why is is slightly higher in my list, but it's basically a wash at this level. We will have to see next phase and after the changes today if anything was changes at all.
@@WanderhoofWoW how much strength is it per 1ap for pets? I got fully naked and bought some 'of strength' gear- checked pet ap beforehand, equipped only the strength gear (9 strength worth) and my pets armour values adjusted but didn't gain a single point of attack power

yeah, survival is currently outperforming BM but it's still close enough that it's not a huge deal which you play
No gear section! Do you think 2h is better than dual wielding?
Right now the 2h raid weapons are slightly better imo

Both are good right now! There are a bunch of weapon combinations that are performing around the same dps but from my testing it seems like Hydra > Fathom Blade = Talwar/fist!

Great video! I've been keeping the melee hunter hype alive as a fellow Tauren and I have a question: because of the Wing Clip spam, I assume it is not worth it to ranged weave? I have currently been popping out to Multi + Auto Shot between Raptor Strikes. Could that still be worth it in instances where you don't have a Feral Druid?
Correct, a huge part of our damage comes from windfury/weapon procs so I always make sure I have a feral in my group. I can't speak to weaving without a feral, but it may parse you as a marksman hunter if you don't mind that. Try to make sure your raid lead puts you in the melee group if you can!

Also now that wind serpent is nerfed, do you still use it or swao to Raptor? Cat?

It's almost impossible to optimize without feral strikes/wind fury unfortunately. We actually get much more value (bigger dps increase) from feral strikes than any other melee right now due to wing clip spam so make sure to tell your raid leader! I have been running a cat recently but gamoorah parses are looking bad haha

do you still run beast mastery now that it's been nerfed?
I do not! I think full Survival is slightly better now especially with raid weapons.
