I use to be a hoarder of boxes. I stopped being a hoarder by purposefully ruining it so I don't feel as bad for recycling it. Otherwise, I would save them "in case I want or need to move." If I'm actually going to move, I can always obtain boxes when that day comes. I don't need to save boxes for a day that may or may not come. I need to implement some reset weeks like this. I love that fresh, new beginning at the start of a new year. If a reset week like this will bring that feeling back throughout the year, then I'm all for it! ♥
i love the idea of the entire reset week as i’m normally exhausted at the end of the week to get anything done. and doing a monthly reset normally is too much because i put off everything i didn’t do weekly😵💫
You are such a delight to watch. I have been sitting her starting a new journal in April and havent done much but number the pages, started the index and done 1 1/2 years of future months journal in Calendex style. I'm craving color and variety and you have provided so much inspiration, THANK YOU!!! A quarter of the year is already gone and I want to make a fun, not just functional journal. You have given me lots of food for thought. Thank you also for the 24 New Bullet Journal Ideas for 2024 video that I watched last week and took extensive notes. Now all I need to do is get some good rest so I feel energized enough to sit and create a lovely journal like yours are.
I'm applying your quarter planning approach leaving the 13th week to rest, plan and reset. I loved the thumbnail, it's me every now and the lol. Btw first quarter for me it's like warming up, an attempt to develop new habits and then check what went good and what needs to be adjusted. Very good tips on the reset week.
A couple of things. First, this gave me so many ideas to incorporate in my life. So really and truly thank you. Second, for real, “It’s just a really good box”, girl I would be a millionaire I had a dollar for every time I’ve thought that. And third, you and Vogel seem to be really happy together and that just makes me smile.
Loving the reset video, and like many others here, I totally identify with the "it's a really good box"! I also like the term "everything shower". I haven't come across that before, but it sounds awesome! I'm also loving the blanket that you're snuggled under early on. I have a feeling that you might have mentioned your mum quilting (maybe?!?) so would that one be handmade? I dabble with quilting and patchwork among many other crafts, and those colours and pattern are beautiful. 😍
*holding coke zero* well now its time for bed *next morning* so i got a really bad sleep lmao you were probably on your way to the bin with the empty can but the juxtaposition was funny to me 😂
Yay, I've been waiting for this video. I also decided to split my year into quarters / cycles / sprints (fortnightly period, name borrowed from Agile) and just did my own reset last week. Interested to see how you approached it!
I have a week off work and am also gradually working through a reset, with plenty of breaks too 😁 feeling VERY accomplished today cos i finally tackled clearing out and and cleaning the fridge ✨✨. Also totally with you on the value of a good box 😂
"it's a really good box" omg the struggle is real lol!
Glad you get it 😂💜
Hoard all of the boxes! Hoard them like dragon 🐉
Tricked Vogel into filimg the reset! "Jess said I could play my game if we did this and then put all these steps in the way." 🤣🤣
He was in such a mood, haha 😂
"everything showers" are my absolute favorite thing especially when they're in the middle of the day! I almost always run out of hot water haha
Such a good way to feel super fresh ✨
Seeing you and Vogel working together makes me so happy. It must be nice to truly have a partner.
I have always worked in quarters - never added in a full home / life reset week to my planning. Going to add in something now.

I totally get you on the “ruining” things to incentivise getting rid of them 😂 I do that with almost everything that isn’t boxes, haha
You truly are a breath of fresh air, Jess. I love the transparency you bring when discussing your life. Makes my own reset feel achievable 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Thanks Kelli! 😄💜 You're a gem 😊
I give the really good boxes to our local after school care centre because they use them for tons of stuff
You and Vogel got A LOT done! I’m exhausted just watching! 😂❤

Yeah having time across the week dedicated to it really helps break up the tasks (and energy expenditure) 😝
Pulling the covers over your head definitely resonated with me. I love your idea of a quarterly reset week.
Haha thanks! 💜 not me hiding from my problems 😝

Glad you’ve found the content helpful 😄💜
I work in the receiving dock of a store, so getting good boxes is not necessarily a problem… and yet, I don’t like getting rid of boxes >_
your living room does look like the perfect place for gaming 😎
Very much “den” vibes 😂💜

Totally feel you on first quarter being a warm up! Certainly felt like that, yeah 😄💜

Glad you understand the box mentality 😂 and glad you found the video useful! 😄💜
*Holding a coke zero* "Time for bed! :D" *cut to: next morning* "Worst sleep ever!" 😅
For what it's worth, finishing the day out with a cheeky cola isn't a rarity for me 😝 The quality of that sleep though was looooowwww 😂

"Everything shower" seems like the right term for what have been wrongly called "self care day".
The good box struggle is real!
They have such potential! 😝
I relate to the good box attachment!!!
Can be such a struggle when you realistically can't find a use for them 😝 That Kenwood box has served us so well! 💜
I can’t!!! The two of you are so cute!!❤
Haha thanks! 😝💜
*holding coke zero* well now its time for bed
*next morning* so i got a really bad sleep

It was my support can 😂💜

Cool that you’re working with cycles too! Hope your reset week went well 😄💜
This is cool to see! Also, I'm curious on how you journal with a digital space like Notion, can you do a video on this?
I have a week off work and am also gradually working through a reset, with plenty of breaks too 😁 feeling VERY accomplished today cos i finally tackled clearing out and and cleaning the fridge ✨✨. Also totally with you on the value of a good box 😂
Good work on the fridge! 💪🥳
This reminded me of your week that was series and I love it ♥️♥️
Glad you enjoyed it! 💜
I really enjoyed listening to you get your life together as mine is very much not together. 😅

I love your quilt! Did you make it?
My mum did 😄💜
Your home looks AMAZING.
Haha thanks! 💜 we quite like it 😝
Love your reset videos!
Glad you like them! 😄💜
That spread is gorgeous.
I have too many really good boxes, it's kind of a problem.
You always inspire me!
Thanks Carolyn! 😄
Awesome Jess. Lots of good stuff and lovely bits of hilarity.
Thanks Tara! Glad you enjoyed it 😄
This was so satisfying and inspiring.

Thanks Melly! Hope you enjoyed it 💜
21:26 hehehehehehe
😝💜
OMG, I figured out why Vogel looks so familiar... He reminds me of the host of the Practical Engineering Channel...
Was it the hat? 😂
