It's summer
Right. They couldn’t say this in winter lol.. it gets so cold in some places that you have to wear animal skins on your feet and you can only be outside for fifteen minutes or your body will shut down.
Holy moly 1:49 83 degrees for a setting is crazy. We set ours at 78-80 in the winter when it’s cold outside and 65-68 in the summer. We would not function or make it in those temperatures
I think some people are misunderstanding how other factors other than triple digit temperatures on weather forecast can be just as dangerous.
Mid to high 90s is dangerous if there is also high humidity. Humidity increases heat index more than just temperature. Also Temperature is an average. This means that there are hot spots that could be much hotter. Like if it’s 88 degrees temperature on weather forecasts, but if your in a city with a lot of buildings, concrete, and asphalt, the heat island effect can make the actual temperature for that area much hotter like 95 or even 97. If combined with high humidity, that heat island effect can make heat index from 97 to well over 100.
Heat Exhaustion is especially dangerous to elderly and young children and can become Heat Stroke if not treated quickly.
Stay hydrated with cool drinks. Keep an eye one elderly and children. They can’t tell they are suffering until they literally get sick from heat exposure.
You're about 2 days too late mentioning this. It's already cooled to under 95F. Literally that was 2 days ago. Moving on. Slow day in news?

Maybe you can join the 1,220 people in the United States and the tens of thousands of people in Europe that die of extreme heat per year, more people dead than any other weather causes (hurricanes, tornadoes).
@@stevenluo9516 Wow, so significantly less than Narcotics? 😂 🤷♂️
@@CanadianForPutin narcotics and other forms of drug addiction are not extreme weather or other weather conditions.
@@stevenluo9516 Yeah, that's the point. The weather pales in comparison to legitimate problems affecting our society. 😂🤷♂️
@@CanadianForPutin And what you said is precisely wrong as extreme heat is a legitimate issue when hundreds of thousands of people die from it per year globally, and that number will only increase over time.
People complain about Cali, but it’s 69 at 11am here in Bay Area. We’ll probably average 80 with a low humidity all summer if lucky.
That said, Ive been to Vegas, biked in Moab when it was 115+, and rode across the Midwest on bicycles in 100 heat and crazy humidity. All that is achievable if you sunscreen up and stay hydrated, get in the shade when you can.
This heat crisis for people means mostly the homeless and elderly, rarely see the average person sweating it.
