    1 use a Eurpepan shower head with a hose - you'll love it. 2 looks great but I would have istalled the lower shelve from the beginning. 3 What abbout a smart, heated center mirrow= and some sockets insight. - Electrical tooth bush..... Lightening on the mirrow? - essential.

    Really liked this vanity/mirror project. Just beautiful. Some feedback as a viewer: make sure you take the time on your videos to show and kind of go through the final product. I tried to see the finished vanity in the last video how the cabinet turned out mand it was hard as it was not filmed for very long. Enjoy your product and take the time at the end of your videos to show it. Great work!!

    Saw this in the house tour video and had to know how it was made. Happy to see a video on it but I’ll have to accumulate some more tools before trying something similar lol

    Love the design. I actually, will use this design but will make some changes as this will be over the bathroom sink and toilet. So the right side will be either just bare shelves of a simple wooden door. This was the inspiration I needed. Thanks again for the easy-to-follow instructional video.

    Nice work, but what about a power outlet inside the vanity or maybe adding some led light to the bottom section would have been also nice ;-)

      Cool idea, Led lights would have been nice. Maybe on the next one.

    Hi, I have a similar cabinet and there some smoke stains between the mirrors and the back of the mirrors leaving an ugly look. How to remove these stains? They are unreachable :(

  • @geometricbass
    @geometricbass 3 года назад

    Nice project. Shame you didn’t have the two end mirrors open toward the center to allow a side view for self haircuts

    • @RadDadBuilds
      @RadDadBuilds  3 года назад +1

      It makes opening the doors too awkward for day to day use.

    This is the exact cabinet I've been planning to make for my kids bathroom and you have just made it so much clearer for me now. Thank you so much. I wish I had found this video a month ago. My question for you: I have 4 sections to my cabinet instead of three. 2 pairs with a light in between. The mirrors I bought for the project came framed and are much thicker than the 1/8" thick mirrors you got from your local glass company. I wish I had had the foresight to get some similar to yours. $70 was a great deal. Since my mirrors are much thicker, my doors will be extra thick. Do I need to plan a reveal on the sides of my cabinet or would regular adjustable overlay hinges be able to accommodate extra thickness. Or in general, how does one work will thick doors?

    Hi. I made a similar cabinet but used solid oak. 18mm fir the door. I used Osmo Polydnon one side , fided the mirror to the other. The door has bowed a lot. Is oak veneer ply less susceptible to bowing? Did you oil/seal your doors, and did they bow? Thanks

    • @RadDadBuilds
      @RadDadBuilds  2 года назад +1

      Yea. Especially in a high moisture content room like a bathroom, solid wood will likely have a lot of movement. Even more so if its thin and wide. That's why I opted for veneer. ply or mdf you shouldn't get much movement. I sealed everything except the face of the door behind the mirror as I was worried the glass wouldn't stick to an oiled surface.
      Your best bet is to replied your door with a veneer.

      @@RadDadBuilds thanks for replying. Will re make it with veneer. Has yours bowed at all?

    Beautiful mirror cabinet! It definitely cost far more than 300 if you fact in your time.

    Why did you build the lower shelf as a separate box instead of just building it as one piece?

    • @RadDadBuilds
      @RadDadBuilds  4 года назад +1

      Personally I thought it would be easier to build two separate as there is a step where the lower is flush with the doors. That said I doing think either way are incorrect.
