You didn't mention the broken throttle lever on your unit...... Understand it's a common problem when unboxing. Would love to know if replacements are available and how easy it is to replace.
You should have put some anti seize or grease on the wheel shaft BEFORE installing the wheel. Did you ever replace the break-in oil with the regular recommended oil?
Just had a snowpocalypse where I live and after removing 10" of wet snow from my 150' driveway, I've decided to give in and get one. I'm wondering how this snow blower is doing for you after this vid was posted 2 years ago.
Pick up a new auger belt and set it on the shelf. When they break and they will break you have one ready. Napa belt will not work properly on this unit
Powersmart are garbage. Never even gonna buy one again. Nothing but problems. Fouls out sparkplug, snapping belts, clutch slips, now carb is clogged or broken. All in 3 years. I am a mechanic so I know im not over doing things.
Just finished fixing up a clogged carb issue on last years model Troy-Bilt Vortex 30". There is no fuel shutoff and the clogged carbs can be common to most makes of blowers.
Going to pick this same one up tomorrow for my Minnesota driveway. This year has got me to break down and buy one. So much snow
I literally just ordered this on home depot clearance, $399+$60 3 year warranty. Amazing deal
@@jake6483 nice find 👍
me too but didn't take the 3 yr warranty :)..Thanks for the review @BuiltKnotBought
Good old North dakota won't stop snowing this year !
They do have models with hand warmers. I have one just north of you in Manitoba. I love this machine.
That just be a dream
After the first use I change the oil to get all of the metal out of the oil from break in you will see a good amount and it only takes half a quart
Great advice I'll drain mine out tomorrow!

It's been good to me over the years, we have not had crazy snow amounts like we did the first year I got it but I have but had any trouble with it
Is there a fuel shut off valve on this machine?
I don't believe mine has one

Others have stated that it's a nightmare to get replacement parts for this unit.
Can you confirm this?
I guess i cant confirm this information because i have not had to order any parts for my snowblower yet
Does it have heated handles ?
No it doesn't that was my one knock on it
You should Grease the axles before putting the wheels on.
Not the dog tryna get some tho!😂😂
Lol tuffy is always pushing his luck
He's a good boy, Great video, Thank you.
@@victorsanchez7715 appreciate it 👍
I would deflate tires a bit your tires are slipping

Interesting, mine has been running strong, I've only had to replace sheer bolts on the auger because I rammed it into some really hard snow drifts
