A shame Brave Marianne's probably in the same camp with Legendary Lilina for "You could give them a normal offensive special but that would ruin their effectiveness in battle." Now pay the fine or it's off to jail." I still can't believe Gatekeeper beat out guys like Marth & Chrom and got the top spot no less. Not complaining at all though. This dude was like the FE equivalent of the Ichiraku owner from Naruto. Serves nothing to the actually plot, and was just a NPC who treated the MC right, did their job, and gave the MC life conversations. And I still feel like it was 50% genuine want, and 50% meme that boosted this man up. Hope Heroes gives this guy an official name.

He's meant to be the buffer, but his biggest disadvantage outside of the ally thing is he's susceptible to panics unless you have a spare Ashera to help him. However his biggest weakness, is his type, at least he's not as bad as Alm.

It's funny, Marianne's Japanese vs English voice is an inversion of the usual pattern. Japanese sounds more mature. I love Xanthe's voice for her but I do wish the English version had sounded older, at least for her Brave alt which is post-TS.
I'll be honest, 2:13 sounds more like she startled the summoner. Like imagine trying to sneak out in the middle of the night, because of some existential reason, and then she just stops you. Also, why does 2:32 sound like she wants to marry us?! My Summoner's already suffered enough!😭
