The one informative difference that I got from this video was that dialectric grease is primarily used for spark plugs, which is what I needed to confirm and that silicone grease is primarily for rubber components, such as lubricants for bolts in calipers when performing a brake job.

Did pretty good talking about dielectric grease first then silicone grease then started showing dielectric grease products while still talking about silicone grease.
Dang this is one confusing grease, I'm still trying to figure out the difference for the proper applications.
This is one of many videos I have searched for answers.
I however have begun to learn a lot and have some understanding of the differences but just not totally educated as of yet.
I think it has to do with the additives or lack of additives in each which determines which is best for certain types of application of the grease used.
