Great job as always. I do prefer the more premium look and feel of the standard Pixel 6. The 6a looks and feels cheap (after holding and comparing both myself) in comparison but that is to be expected. So don't expect a smaller copy of the 6 standard. I appreciate your real-world review. My concern is how well the fingerprint reader works with a screen protector. I'd say most folks would use a case AND a screen protector these days. Thanks!
I actually used a screen protector from Day 1 and the fingerprint scanner worked so much better than the Pixel 6 when it first launched! I’m sure it’ll be fine! Thanks for watching! 😁
Oh my god what the hell? Did MKBHD really compare the Pixel 6a with the 13 Pro? I am strongly considering the Pixel 6a, and I know the 60Hz is pretty good. But I kept that video in mind and really thought.... MAYBE just iPhone is that little bit smoother at 60Hz, because I know at 120Hz, Android is indeed smoother. Now this feels just ridiculous. Can't trust MKBHD anymore. This literally feels like manipulation and playing with the narrative with his power
Until you plug in to a power slot where there may be some voltage fluctuations. At one of your rooms or coffee shop or public places or a friend's place. Your batter shorts. And you are now in Google support hell. Before buying 6a. Just imagine you have a faulty pixel 6a and search for ways to return or repair. You will know what a pain it is
I have ordered this phone yesterday and super excited to you it for it. I was using android 6 phone for the past couple of years and wanted to switched campact decent phone. This phone was in my radar for months and not will get delivered to me in couple of days.🎉
Call it mid budget. There are considerably better devices out there for much lesser price. One thing most of the internet reviewers almost fail to tell is, how secure the device is when it comes to user data ???
I ❤️ your channel. The image and sound quality is bright, colorful and clear 👍👍🌟. I have a Pixel 6, i think I have to buy 6a or an old 4xl as backup during my trips to the country side 🤔. You'll never miss a great shot with a pixel phone 👍✨❤️
I am looking forward to receiving my Pixel 6a on Friday, I ordered it for 370€ on the google store, when there was the discount. :) I am finally switching from a four years old Oneplus 6.
I did the same thing, but the in my case useless fingerprint scanner made me return it after 2 days... And besided the quality of the screen, it didnt feel like an upgrade from my Oneplus 6..
Just bought this phone on the Google store. I killed my 4a on the second day of my vacation in Mexico by getting it wet at the beach. I am excited about trying it out when I return home. Wish Google had an express delivery service that would rush a replacement phone pre-loaded with all of your broken phone's apps straight to you while out of the country but otherwise I am very happy with my pixel phones that started with the pixel 1.
It does matter. 60hz is horrible. No phone should have that anyone. Once you use a 120hz phone, you seriously can't go back. Don't waste your time with this phone.
Please Do Not Fall for the brand Google. This is the worst phone ever in terms of hardware. It heats up like an oven. Google don't know how to fix the heating issues. They are clueless in hardware. Software might be ok. But what will you do with software if hardware sucks like crazy ?

This phone waking unnecessarily when in pocket issue can be solved if you can just turn off the double tap to wake feature, it won't turn on the screen in the pocket.

Actually, the spontaneous activation of the phone while in the pocket is not just you. It happens to me all the time but when I store it with screen out the problem is resolved. I'm wondering if it is the proximity sensor that's causing the issue.
Got mine delivered today for £319 after the google discount on the 9/9 sale and a further discount from my google one account credit that I had! Can’t go wrong at that price 👀🚨
You’re not alone regarding the pixel dialing numbers and etc in your pocket, my pixel 6 is horrible about dialing my emergency contacts in my pocket even while the screen should be off. Great video.
Ahhh that's unfortunate ☹️ Apparently someone said disabling double to wake would fix the issue but I just gave the phone to my brother so I can't test it anymore 😅 Thanks for watching! 😁
Phantom touches in the pocket was a known issue at the start of the year with 6 & 6 Pro. There was an update (January I think) that acknowledged and fixed this. But since moving from 13 beta to 13 stable, the issue is back on my 6 Pro. So you're definitely not alone.
@@chuff009 I've had the 6 since about a month after launch. The main three issues I had with 12 were battery life, fingerprint sensor and Bluetooth issues. Since the 13 update, I've had phantom touches in the pocket and absolutely horrible battery life. It drops almost 10% an hour being idle.
I have a pixel 6 and I'm not overly impressed with that . I took a look at a pixel 6a as I wanted a smaller phone, but I thought no! Actually prefer my 4a ( on first impressions)
Well I'm not impressed with mine.. just sent mine back after a month as it has severe battery drain and bad over heating. I'm having a new one sent out on warranty but I'm not hoping for the best
stop making excuses for phone companies with that talk...no phone in 2022 should be 60hrtz on an android phone,i know phones in the $200 range with 90 and 120 hrtz
I'm not saying the phone shouldn't have 90hz, I'm just trying to say it's not as bad as it seems and Pixel UI does play a big role in that. Obviously, we should be companies like Google and Apple to make at least 90hz standard. Thanks for watching! 😁
WHAT ABOUT the fact that the fingerprint sensor still didnt work in 2023 it's not since android 13, it hasn't been working since I've bought the phone. I've changed my prints many times. I've put the always on display option on, they tell you to do the "increase touch sensitivity" .... what a joke. It literally does NOTHING. I tried ten times with and ten times without, it literally changes nothing. I took off my screen protector that I payed 25E and it still doesnt work but now I have no protection on my screen and just threw 25E out. For a 450e phone or even now 350 it still does not have a fingerprint sensor that works... beside of that the screen does freeze so sometimes even if you don't have the sensor on and you want to open your phone with code you have to press the button on the right of the phone to then press the finger print to then press the code to then press enter the code. WHICH IS PRETTY SIMPLE AND HANDY RIGHT ? with all the gadget that you use once and never again the 450 phone is not even able to open itself in a simple maner... What kind of experience it is when you struggle everytime you try to open your phone. this device is a joke and they know it. give me back my money

No SD card. Everyone should buy it ? Really ?
I appreciate your real-world review. My concern is how well the fingerprint reader works with a screen protector. I'd say most folks would use a case AND a screen protector these days. Thanks!
I actually used a screen protector from Day 1 and the fingerprint scanner worked so much better than the Pixel 6 when it first launched! I’m sure it’ll be fine! Thanks for watching! 😁
@@Gadgetsu thanks for the clarification. That's great news.
This literally feels like manipulation and playing with the narrative with his power
hes payed by apple
so I bought a 6 pro for $535 shipped. I think I did ok.
Almost everybody's put them phones in plastic case and there are critics about a plastic back? 🤦🏼♂️
Pixel 6a vs s21 Fe? I'm getting both of them for similar price. I'm a casual user who want amazing camera and display.
You will know what a pain it is
Nice video..sounds like a really good value for the average normal phone user
Thank you for the info on the 6a! I saw some bad comments on it but still decided to buy it.
I have ordered this phone yesterday and super excited to you it for it. I was using android 6 phone for the past couple of years and wanted to switched campact decent phone. This phone was in my radar for months and not will get delivered to me in couple of days.🎉
60 Hz. No android can endure 60 Hz for this price.
Only iPhone users can.
I really like how they have been doing the square corners.
Call it mid budget. There are considerably better devices out there for much lesser price. One thing most of the internet reviewers almost fail to tell is, how secure the device is when it comes to user data ???
I just picked one up just to try out I got it for 199 and if I would done a trade in would of cost only 80 plus tax
Just bought a brand new one clearance for 99 dollars. I wanted to see what is was like as my first pixel. I absolutely love this thing!
That is definitely one of the best budget phones out there.
I am looking forward to receiving my Pixel 6a on Friday, I ordered it for 370€ on the google store, when there was the discount. :) I am finally switching from a four years old Oneplus 6.
Hey am confused in black and white colour which is better as classy
I did the same thing, but the in my case useless fingerprint scanner made me return it after 2 days...
And besided the quality of the screen, it didnt feel like an upgrade from my Oneplus 6..
For 379$ it's a pretty good phone
Absolutely incredible! Especially in the Canadian market where everything expensive! Thanks for watching! 😁
Tight shorts AND meteor thighs? nah, that plastic back would be so melted
Nice video
Which wallpaper you have used mate ?
Really good phone. before i buy it i was concerned about overheating but i suprised works really cold
In India it's launched on the price of 550 usd and now i brought it for 315usd almost for 26000 RS 🥳
commenting from 6a
Who don't you phone reviews ever talk about call quality and signal reception, that is the fundamental function of a phone🤦🤦🤦
Hi I'm from Jamaica and last year I had switched from Samsung note 10 plus to this mobster mini beast pixel 6a so awesome 👍😎 I'm from Jamaica and in my country pixel 6a is for $85,000
Awesome! I'm glad you enjoy it and wow that's expensive! Thanks for watching! 😁
This phone waking unnecessarily when in pocket issue can be solved if you can just turn off the double tap to wake feature, it won't turn on the screen in the pocket.
That's useful to know! Thank you so much! 😁
Great quality videos btw!😁♥️
@@biswajitmaharana8929 That's very kind of you! Thanks! 😁
Google is selling S22 for $300. I got mine last month and I'm more than content with it. I'm fine to get rid of my old iPhone and Apple Watch now and enjoy kinda disconnected life. 😀
Dude that's an awesome deal! It was a great phone minus the short battery life! I just traded it in for the Z Flip 4 actually! Enjoy the phone and thanks for watching! 😁
@@Gadgetsu The deal is still live on Google FI.
Exactly. I think it has the lowest battery life among all phones I've used. (majority being iPhones).
I bought 2 standing wireless chargers to solve this issue. 😃
Z Flip 4, that's a cool phone. 😎👍🏻
You're welcome. I enjoy watching your videos. Your cinematography and editing styles are really good 🙂👍🏻
@@HimanshuJagtap Yaaaa, the iPhone has unbeatable battery life due to its tight integration between hardware and software! Haha, I have wireless chargers lying around too, and always carry a powerbank!
Thanks for the kind words btw! This was a lazy video since I'm school right now 🤣
Excellent accurate review. I too experienced that the Phone had accidental touches somehow when kept in my pocket triggering emergency dialling. I don't know why that happens. So strange
I think the OS, security updates, and camera on Pixel Phones makes it one of the best android phone.
agreed
On the 6a, can a micro SD card be added?
No.
Hey! That was an amazing review! Subscribed to you man! Your quality content made a fan of yours in a few minutes! 😄♥️
I hope your channel grows more and more day by day. ♥️
amazing quality videos good channel keep it up +1 sub
hello everyone can anybody please tell me how to unlock my google pixel6a without data loss
Actually, the spontaneous activation of the phone while in the pocket is not just you. It happens to me all the time but when I store it with screen out the problem is resolved. I'm wondering if it is the proximity sensor that's causing the issue.
Yep, i had the same issue with the pixel 4a too....
Got mine delivered today for £319 after the google discount on the 9/9 sale and a further discount from my google one account credit that I had! Can’t go wrong at that price 👀🚨
That's absolutely amazing! I hope you enjoy the phone! Thanks for watching! 😁
We'll be getting this at 350USD in India on sale
It would be, if it wasn't for the overheating and battery issues...
I don't have problems with mine but I do wish the battery was better
Try using a Samsung... Both my S22 and Z Flip 4 overheat much more and have worse battery life than both the Pixels! Thanks for watching! 😁
Apple just upped their refresh rate like 2 years ago. The display is fine
How's the phone's performance after September update.... Any info?
Yep, same with the pixel 4a too...
I have a pixel 6 and I'm not overly impressed with that . I took a look at a pixel 6a as I wanted a smaller phone, but I thought no! Actually prefer my 4a ( on first impressions)
Best phone for $299!
I went from Moto G Power to the Pixel 6a, I am now a happy camper.
Most mobile phone reviewers/ content creators are apple zealots.
Or just buy the regular 6. Can be bought for $200.
If they only made a 256 GB then yes, 128 gb not enough memory for me!
That's actually a very good point you brought up! I should've mentioned it haha! Thanks for watching! 😁
The most accurate review till now
Jesus..boy..you really have a billion numbers?!
Really great video, new subscriber :)
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! 😁
Just got mine it's great but the battery life is really poor, or is it just me?
And the overheating is there too 😭😭 I feel cheated
Well I'm not impressed with mine.. just sent mine back after a month as it has severe battery drain and bad over heating. I'm having a new one sent out on warranty but I'm not hoping for the best
Just wish we could have an option for the old control centre.
stop making excuses for phone companies with that talk...no phone in 2022 should be 60hrtz on an android phone,i know phones in the $200 range with 90 and 120 hrtz
I'm not saying the phone shouldn't have 90hz, I'm just trying to say it's not as bad as it seems and Pixel UI does play a big role in that. Obviously, we should be companies like Google and Apple to make at least 90hz standard. Thanks for watching! 😁
LOL 60hz is still enough. Its just a phone...
This is A+ content. Well done, you earned a sub ❤️
And mate the iPhone has a better camera then the pixel
Mine works perfectly
So excited!!!
You getting the phone? Thanks for watching! 😁
TOP REVIEW 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. YES OF COURSE 60 HERTZ BUT IT STILL FLYES. SONY AIMH 363 CAMERA IS GOOD TOO. IF YOU COULD MAKE A REPORT ABOUT WHAT IS INSTALLED IN MY SMARTPHONE.😁 And the same camera is in Redmi 8A.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I actually have a comparison with the Pixel 6 showing that there is almost no difference in camera quality! Good idea too, I should make a whats on my phone video! Thanks for watching! 😁
Got this in January thanks so much for sharing 🙂❤️
Awesome! I really hope you enjoy the phone! Thanks for watching! 😁
Looking to buy a 6a, because as a guy, I don't carry a handbag or purse, and I want a phone that I can carry and sit comfortably in my pocket without sticking in my leg (like my Samsung A70 6.7" device. It's a sensible size, does everything I need, looks stylish and CHEAP!!
1ST You are obviously knowledgeable and I enjoyed the video, but whew do you have a time limit or something? Much to fast, i had to rewind many times-granted I'm I'm a senior who just discovered CD's and got rid of my 8 track, but a little slower would be appreciated. I subscribed and look foward to watching so more of your content.
Android 13 already out
Yup it is! At the time I filmed the video, Android 13 only came out for my Pixel 6, not my 6a! Thanks for watching! 😁
Mindset for google pixel 6a,
Thank you so much 😊 for your opinion 😊
Thank you so much for watching! 😁
I still love using 60hz
My new 6a is arriving tomorrow!
Nice video man ! Keep it up
Pixel 6a has corning gorilla glass 3 protection ! It is easily broken and we need to spend on glass replacement often. Please don't recommend this to your subscribers!
My salary is low, I would have to give whole month payment for this phone. Imagine now how many months I would have to work for an Iphone...and not to eat or pay taxes etc..
