“It takes a village to raise a child!" A beautiful African proverb describes the role of stakeholders in a child's life. New-age parents are tussling between what values to impart to their children. The decision to make a shift from their traditional upbringing and breaking the strict norms has parents perplexed. From allowing the child to think independently to catching up with fast-paced and ever-changing educational tools, there are a plethora of services offered by outside agencies that are major contributing factors in parenting today. Parental aspirations, social media pressures, and instant comparison with peers are some of the reasons responsible for the feeling of inadequacy in both parents and children.
