COMMENT: In May 2016, I downloaded a few of the commercial break compilations that were on the Fun and Games Channel. This was one of them. The guy behind that channel was the late David Downs, who I never got to meet or interact with much during his lifetime but who, as I understand it, was a true professional of the Internet. The channel where this and similar commercial compilations were originally on-that of Mr. Downs-got terminated at least three years after his untimely death. This is one of the two 1977 Detroit TV commercial compilations I will be re-uploading in his honor, and this one was so notable it got a dedicated article from Detroit's Metro Times weekly newspaper; the contents of the compilation are listed in the article, which I will link here: www.metrotimes...

MyNetworkTV's Detroit availability is on WMYD in Detroit; that station is on channel 20 and was affiliated with the WB prior to MNTV's launch.

Also, MyNetworkTV was formed in the wake of CBS and Warner Bros. (corporate parents of UPN and the WB) forming the CW network and picking up UPN's and the WB's strongest stations to serve as nuclei for the network; News Corporation, which founded MyNetworkTV, sought to pick up WB and MyNetworkTV stations that it felt were left behind by the joint venture to keep them from going independent.

Who's David Downs? I heard about MicroJow. Was he the same guy?
No, he wasn't. David Downs was a completely different person who is no longer alive.
