Ive got a question about the intakes. if there in the grill how do they not suck up water when driving in the rain and bog out the motor? i had a subaru that had its intake near the same spot and it happened every time the road was wet/rain
You can buy any after market catback exhausts. At least here in Cali, most aftermarket catback exhausts are legal. As long as you have the catback, you’ll be fine. If you go catless, or touch anything before the cats, then you will trigger some codes, and get a check engine light.
Just brought my 2008 G37s with 102k miles on it. What would your Recommendations be for performance but I want to preserve the life of the engine the best that I can?

Bruhda get an oil cooler trust. These cars tend to run hot and if you drive it hard you you’ll definitely need one. But also an oil catch can. Oil catch cans definitely preserve life of engine. 👍🏼
@@Marinate305 i would just use K and N drop in filters and then as much of the exhaust you can, high flow cats and cat back is nice, but you would see good gains with catback
@@megascar Motordyne is my favorite. But it's very expensive. Power wise I'm actually not 100% sure, but you can check online. The wider the exhaust the more power it'll make
@@megascar those two exhausts are negligible differences in term of losing or gain HP. Me I rather have the sound and go out for Motordyne. You will have to wait wait for a long time for one as they’re on backorder
Well have you seen a stock G compared to a lowered G? Definitely a bit of an exaggeration, they come pretty low from factory but not low enough for a sports car

True. I did slightly mention a tune in the intake section but great point. Tune and test pipes are a must

What did you use to black out your emblems on the trunk? Love how it’s a bit glossy.
I used Rust Oleum Gloss Black spray paint. I made a video on it, painting my grill black

A catback exhaust won't set the check engine light off. If you go catless then it will.

gallery gasket and replace the water pump if u can. new coils set and spark plugs and obviously pay attention to ur oil

You can. But you're not going to get much gains. It's not worth doing it unless you have a catback

Nah he’s right I just got my stock G37 from my uncle and one of the first things I noticed was the ride height their super high up in the air.
i got the sports suspension from factory and it’s kinda low
