- I picked up a Jupiter Storm Eurorack module from hexinverter.net at Control last week. Hex's vcNOIZ became an instant favorite of mine so after less than a minute demoing the "JS" at the store I knew I had to have it. It's basically 3 special noise oscillators, CV inputs and several outputs. In my demo video above I start off with just a basic output, show you how it sounds going stereo out, I engage the Noise Core Disruptor, modulate with with a Synthesis Technology E355 LFO, FM it with a vcNOIZ and finally sequence it with a Doepfer Dark Time. This is a very fun and useful module. There is a breakout coming later this year that will add even more functionality.
I blew up my A-110 OSC and I think this is a good replace. I loved the 110 for the easy to add mods and it served me good for all these years, but it's time for a new baby. :)
fuck! very nice
Did you make the sounds in the intro to "Programmed" with the Jupiter Storm? Love that track.
just ordered one after watching this ;-)
Sounds pretty awesome - although I feel like one could get many of these sounds by syncing and FMing a few square waves against each other...
ah supposed it i was watching more carful i woulda noticed it was clear as day when i re watched it haha nice video. would you buy jupiter storm again? do you find it useful?
Doepfer Dark Time Sequencer.
ACE!
question, what audio interface are using to record in ableton.
i just brought a modular case yesterday.
I use a Motu 828 MKIII and an Innerclock Sync-Gen II. I also have two Behringer ADA8000's that add more inputs.
