- In the second episode, Anubhav takes on the bustling streets of Prathu Wam alone, ready to explore the neighborhood, which is known as a vibrant food hub with a rich culinary scene. As evening sets in, he navigates the lively streets, visiting several eateries that showcase the diverse flavors of this area.
Anubhav’s first stop is Kai Wow, located near Stadium One. Here, he tastes their specialty: Thai-style skewer-grilled chicken topped with Mala seasoning. The chicken is perfectly grilled, with a smoky flavor that complements the spicy, numbing kick of the Mala seasoning, a mix of Sichuan peppercorns and chilies.
Moving on, Anubhav heads to Pa Nee Kung Chae Nam Pla in Wang Mai. This spot is famous for its unique take on seafood, offering a dish that’s like a salad, made with raw prawns, oysters, and a special seafood sauce. The dish is fresh and flavorful, with the seafood sauce adding a tangy, slightly spicy kick that enhances the natural taste of the prawns and oysters.
His next destination is Mai Iam, also in Wang Mai. At this cozy eatery, Anubhav tries two dishes. The first is chicken pieces stir-fried with ginger juliennes and soy sauce, a simple yet flavorful dish where the sharpness of the ginger perfectly balances the savory soy sauce. The second dish is a congee-like mixture made of rice, barley, and Job's tears-a comforting bowl that's both hearty and soothing, offering a delightful texture and mild flavor.
Continuing his exploration, Anubhav visits Saneh Larb Koi, another gem in Wang Mai, known for its Isan-style zesty sweet corn salad. The dish is a vibrant mix of sweet corn, chilies, lime, and fish sauce, creating a refreshing combination of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors.
As the evening progresses, he makes his way to Jae Wan in Khwaeng Rong Muang. This spot is well-loved for its unique desserts. Anubhav enjoys soy milk mixed with ginkgo seeds and sesame balls-a warm, nourishing treat that’s subtly sweet and full of texture. He also tries black grass jelly served with shaved ice, brown sugar, and sugar syrup, a popular dessert that’s both cooling and lightly sweetened, perfect for a warm evening.
Finally, Anubhav wraps up his food adventure at Pungdet on Banthat Thong Road, Rong Mueang. Here, he indulges in a lightly toasted bun filled with Ovomaltine, a rich and creamy chocolate spread. The bun is soft and slightly crisp on the outside, while the Ovomaltine filling adds a deliciously sweet and malty flavor, providing a satisfying end to his culinary journey through Prathu Wam.
Through this solo exploration, Anubhav not only discovers new flavors but also experiences the diverse food culture that makes Prathu Wam a must-visit destination for any food lover.

OVALTINE WAS AVAILABLE IN INDIA.. LONG BACK..
I remember drinking Ovaltine when I was a child. That was about 50 years ago.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ovaltine was available in India too in our childhood. It is a drink like bournvita. I don't think the raw shrimp clam guy will get much Indian business. 😂
raw shrimp guy can get good business in northeast India, or Kerala/Goa. Maybe even West bengal/odisha.
@@ShubhoBose You missed Nagaland. They eat anything with 4 legs except chairs and tables. 😂
น@@FunnyIntelliInnocentVilageKidare toh Nagaland se Kaun aayega khane idhar.
Koi Indian taste Ki food iss road PE Nahi hain it's mainly Chinese food.
@@udomshukul3383Do Indians eat raw meat in any state ? Except may be the expensive sushi in fancy restaurant . I don't think Indians want their meat to be even a bit raw inside while looking cooked outside.
