Philippines is a very large country. Many people are poor and have no access to information let alone education. What is the law, what is legal, what is morally right? Who teaches them? The Government should install schools and educate the children including sex education and what are their rights. What is the legal age for consent and pedophilia crimes. These should all be taught in schools. Many Philippina people do not know what the West deems as right or wrong. They need to eat and feed themselves, and to do so they do things for money, even if these things are wrong. Don't go round judging the victims when the victims don't even know they are victims. Teach, teach teach. If after teaching, they persist in wrong doing, then punish them.

The grandmother worried about the neighbors gossiping and telling people not to judge makes me so angry she is exactly the type of person we should judge and from the way she talks she was in on it and would probably do it again ! Those kids should never be brought back to her !
I'm really quite shocked about the level of abuse inflicted in children by their families in the Philippines. Even grandmothers cannot be trusted.

So sad these filipina women have to endure. My wife (filipina, we meet during nursing school in California), when we were planning our wedding she had a nervous breakdown. She told me the she was repeatedly SA by her uncle for 4 years (12-15 years old) in the Philippines. Her parents worked nonstop, so her uncle would sneak into her house and SA her...most of the time it was for the entire day (12-14 hours), he would threathen to kill the entire family if she told her parents. It only stopped because he ended up having a stroke and was never recovered physically, eventually died in 2019.
The pain the children are in it breaks your heart. 😢 I don't care how poor you are you never use your children for profit.
I'm so sick of hearing that excuse. You hear it from liberals about abuse that happens all over the world (unless the perpetrator is a Westerner). In places like Cambodia and Thailand, children, boys and girls, are selected by their families to be the one that will be pimped out to be sex workers to help support the families. And many times the money is used to buy drugs for addicted parents. In many Arab countries, young boys are considered more acceptable to sexually abuse than women or girls, and are often assigned to be "apprentices" or helpers of disgusting older pigs that sexually abuse them as well as pimp them out for cash and favors. U.S. military personnel were told not to interfere when they witnessed these disgusting actions in places like Afghanistan. In Pakistan .. it is estimated, using a national poll of truck drivers, where they willingly provided the answers about their own activity, that roughly 95% of truck drivers there freely admit to sexually abusing young homeless or desperately poor boys as their primary form of entertainment. All of the truck stops are basically pedophile dens.
I believe that there is a special place in hell for the parents and grandmother and the perverts who paid for it.

It’s the religious culture in the Philippines. This is exactly what a religious culture does to their kids. Then they just pray and everything is ok, then repeat the same thing the next day. It’s a cycle because other belief the god forgives everything …
All I could do is cry and pray for peoples eyes to be open. As a mother, I would sell myself before I chose to sell my child. This is how low and depraved and desperate people have become that they literally abandon all sense of morality.

Be very careful with Priests. They are often “assigned “ abroad because they are running away from the law in their country. The Catholic organization do not want their priest persecuted and be in the news, so they assign them in the third world country where it is difficult to track them and the locals do not have a clue of their background.

I think much in the same way people are attracted sexually to same sex, to animals, to objects, to killing (yeah apparently that is a frikkin thing) among others. As humans, I don't think even we can fathom what lies beneath the surface of human mentality/ depravity. We're seeing it more and more these days in the things people do, say, wear, act, etc.

I have many, many times wondered why men do this, what surprised me, sadly that in Cambodia old men, mainly from the Arab areas, will pay any amount to have a virgin girl , it is claimed the blood rejuvenated them and made them strong and young again, sadly poor families will sell there daughters as they desperately need the money to survive or buy a cow, as for the silly old man he, like the rest of us will grow old and senile, what happens to the girl after he has finished with her, disappears into the desert we will never know.

These poor children are just so easy to expoit. They have little if any education at all. They have very little food at home, wear old clothes & probably have no toys at all. Its just so easy to even coerce kids in that situation into doing anything. I cant even think about it, its to painful. How can anyone not have their hearts breaking listening to & watching those kids screaming out their anger & bashing those cusions. My god comfort them as they will all believe in god.
