I think it's fine to interpret whichever way you want them because both ways work for people. Either way they deeply care for one another.

Their relationship is so beautiful in so many ways - and I've always thought that they were two sides to the same coin. Both separated from the regular world. Jayce, for striving too high in a world that didn't want to explore the unknown. And Victor, for settling too low and accepting his fate. And then the coin flipped in season 2. This is the one relationship that actually got me to tear up while I watched them lol. 😅😭
One of the best examples of starcrossed I've ever seen. Viktor was easily my fave character, I was only able to continue when it was just S1 because of him (I wasn't terribly interested/invested otherwise I'll be honost). But gosh these two... they sunder my heart. Neither would've lived anywhere near the "full" life they had without the other. Jayce would've died in the snow as a child if Viktor never made his mistakes. They're this twisted up bootstrap paradox. In the end they really lived for each other, were inspired to live by one another- died together. Thinking about all the little ways they're connected, what one means to the other, the depth of that affection and care, the HUMANITY, the soul of it all- it makes my head spin and breaks my heart. This show was so beautiful. I'll never get the way Viktor says, "Only you-" out of my head. God

Your scene selection and build to the end is perfection, and the sound mixing is perfect as well, which idk if that’s a weird thing to compliment but the song was always audible and lending the atmosphere without ever eclipsing the dialogue you included which just makes everything so polished and obvious from three seconds in that you are incredibly talented and just thank you for making this and sharing it with us!
I love the way you followed the narrative of the show to tell their story here and ur implementation of their dialogue is perfect. many its crazy how hard they cooked with parallels in the first season huh? Also insane feat you can feel both characters develop so much and u didnt include a single scene of sky thats how u know she was fucking useless man LMAO but seriously this shit was beautiful man makes me appreciate arcane even more when all the fluff gets cut out

And I love how you chose and placed the dialogue, and the color grading is amazing and the transitions are brilliant i'm in AWE. Thank you for this!!
