To each it's own, but the VR6 has one of, if not the best exhaust notes of any car out there. Especially the R32

Great sounding car. Hope you still own it. I've got a Techtonics with a Borla on, a high flow cat, a Cold air intake, and a Stage 2 unitronics tune and its not huge difference but it sounds a little meaner than this one. Anyone who doesn't adore the sound of a VR6 is either a rice peddling 4 cyl fanboy or a "I liek truuuks" douche. People told me the exhaust would get old but its been a year since the cat was put on and I still can't get over just how nice the VR sounds. With basic bitch tastes, how can anyone who hates on a VR possibly understand what a good 6 sounds like.

Love how you can hear the intake suck for air every time you step on the throttle, mine is the exact same and it beats the sound of a turbo BOV any day of the week IMO.

its a straight pipe 2.5" all the way back to just a "magnaflow" muffler. the oe magnaflow systems use a 2.25" piping.

I gotta say, I usually hate bodykits...with a burning passion. Anything with a bodykit is automatically a ricer in my mind....but that jetta looked sick with that kit. and sounded even better. so many people are afraid to rev VR6's, but when they finally get revved....that sound is just fantastic.

definitely one of the cleanest jettas ive seen in awhile. love the tucked exhaust. fart cans and angled exhausts look akward on jettas.

@Ronixwake5656 Between a VW VR6 and an Audi V6 engine is big difference, but both types of engines are used in VWs and in Audis too, because Audi is like an secondary branch of VW. The VW`s VR6 engine has 15 or 10.6 degrees V angle and 1 cylinderhead, that are: 15 degrees: 2.8l 12v, 2.8l 24v, 2.9l 12v (Eurospec Corrado, Passat Syncro), 3.2l 24v (R32), 10.6 degrees: 3.6l 24v (R36). The Audi`s V6 engine is normal V6 whit 90 degrees V angle and 2 cylinderhead, that are 2.7l 24v, 2.8l 30v, 3.0l 30v.

just keep it 2.5" and you'll be fine. keeping the resonator wont make it as raspy as mine sounded.

thing is... the front/rear bumpers are actually stock lol... only thing aftermarket are the sideskirts. and the bumper isnt an R bumper. its the oem votex front.
