My parents were both public school teachers and I learned to love Scouting activities even before I went to school. We had campfire, camping, games, king and queen contests etc. Every October in the 70's and early 80's when I was in the elementary, all we sang are scouting songs and this is one of them. The funny thing is that our scout master made us boys sing this song but only changing the word girls to boys and GSP to BSP.
