- The Serpent & The Seed is a work-in-progress indie mobile adventure game, with really chilled gameplay, gorgeous artwork and wonderful music. In April 2024 we took a demo to the WASD exhibition in London, part of the London Games Festival. See how people reacted to our game, and some simple usability issues that we were able to address mid-conference to really transform the experience.

Sounds like a really helpful and encouraging time.
I’m impressed at you being able to respond so quickly to some of the feedback.
I wonder if there’s a better way to lead people up the tree without backtracking, like putting something else up there to interact with more closely?
Yes, it was SUCH a useful experience! Don’t worry, in real life most people tap on the Sloth first which leads them up there. I think there is still more I could do to make it work out where the best place to walk to is, to minimise backtracking, but this is good enough for now
It's so cool that you got Mark Brown to try your game!
Yes, was very grateful to him for taking the time- a real honour!
Always happy to get your videos!
Nice seeing you addressing some of the issues I felt demoing last year at the Christian Game Developers Conference. I'm ready to try it again someday!
Thanks Anthony!
Paper Trail looks interesting - it reminds me of Gorogoa, but it looks like there is more freedom to it, and more of a storyline.
Yeah, I didn’t get to play as much as a I would have liked due to the massive queue but I loved what I saw and it was fun meeting one of the developers
sry to post feedback on the video and not the game, but I think you're a little close to the camera. Makes it a little jarring to watch, especially in fullscreen. You're good at talking tho, and your voice is soothing!!
Thank you- super helpful feedback!
