Arenvald has slowly become one of my favorite NPC and scion being one of few that possess the echo it's a shame he was pretty much ignored in ARR and HW
The Raubahn/Nanamo scene was one of the best emotional moments in the game for me. Their relationship together is so deep, wholesome, and refreshingly different from what would be a romantic pairing. And Raubahn's whole character is amazing. A towering battle-hardened warrior who also has a soft emotional side.
47:10 my favorite moment in all of ffxiv. That single tearshed from Fordola speaks volumes of her character. This entire cutscene is beautiful and shows how well versed in storytelling the 14 team is.
I love that they managed to give her something of a redemption arc without having everyone just instantly forgive and forget the terrible things she'd done. I wish hey'd handled Yotsuyu better, wasn't a fan of her arc in the following patches but Fordola's in this patch I adored.
@@morriganrenfield8240 Ahhh of course, this is again just for when one accidentally skips a line. I just switch then come back to the normal dialogue bubbles
Fordola redemption! Our wish came true! Some others and myself have been hoping she would and now she has the echo neat I hope she becomes good and badass ally in future story scenarios in ffxiv
M. Woller I see the Empire as an enemy because of the way they execute their plans. Sure, we both want the same thing. To save our planet. However, trying to control everything doesn't resonate well with me. For a long time Bahamut was held in captivity after attempting to be controlled when he lost his loved ones, and eventually when he was freed, he was neither able to be stopped, controlled, or reasoned with. That's how I see all of the people living in Eorzea and beyond. The Empire can try and control them all they want and do it for a just cause, but they can only do that for so long before someone or a group of people break that control that they hate and become unstoppable, or unable to reasoned with at all. One other thing I forgot to mention was that while we both wish to slay primals, the way they wish to do it doesn't seem safe. Now that we know primals are capable of being summoned through powerful negative emotions like grief (under certain other conditions like Titan and Lakshmi), control seems like the worst option to use. The dangerous wildfires that rage within everyone who are capable of summoning primals like that should be quelled at the source, and so far Alphinaud seemed to have the right idea when he spoke with the Beast tribe that attempted to summon Titan again.
M. Woller every side has got their own heroes a villains. Its just a matter of perspective you can only glimpse at the horrors or the heroic acts they have seen or done. But you can never truely understand until you yourself gets involved.
Do you mean 17:34 to 17:44? Yeah I apologize for that. Some kind of glitch while it was rendering in 108060fps. The rest of the video should be okay though.
Umm...is your in-game audio muted? Go to the settings and check your audio slider bars. That's the only thing I can think of. Unless you are talking about much earlier patches like in 2.0. Since the Heavensward expansion, voice acting has become much more prevalent. Some 75% of Cutscenes in game have voice acting now, at least when it comes the the Main Scenario.

The audio gets desynced around 17:30 and lasts until about 20:30

Gosetsu and Yotsuyu are so goddamn cute in this. XD
Well. The dialogue between nanamo and rauban just made me cry, had to come here because i accidentally skipped a line of text
If you switch to the "Event" in your chat log you can see skipped dialogue lines.
@@KooriGraywolf true, but the this way looks better! ;)

I have also come to see how we're getting on. lol
Yeah dude. I love making these cutscene compliations. People seem to find them useful. And I love XIV's story so I guess it works ;)

Anyone know the theme that plays when Nanamo and Raubahn are talking starts around 50:00
Evan Reimers Tranquility I believe.

Jarede De Santi 17:34 to 17:44?

Will you be posting the cutscenes for the Return to Ivalice raid as well?
cloudkitt I can if that is something that interests you.
How did you get the voices?? I just have to read them all.

Damn I must have something screwed in my settings. That's such a shame too. =*(. I have missed out on so much.
I was literally like. Damn, do these guys have actors voicing over the cutscene? LOL
