Magnum Shield would work on Wall Shadow and Shield, giving it +3k ATK and giving more reason to search Equips Spells. Weapon Change and Sword & Shield woulds swap both's stats. side ideas would be Box of Friends to summon Labyrinth Wall or Shield, and a monster called Lindbloom that sets all monsters ATK to their DEF during battle.
So I believe, and this is just based on memory, Wall Shadow attacked Celtic Guardian. Joey activated Kunai with Chain and then Yugi attacked over it with Celtic Guardian.
Odd eyes advance dragon would be good in this deck. You could just run one of it. It's ability is you can tribute 1 level 5 monster or higher: if tribute summoned, you can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls and if you do inflict damage to your opponent to that monsters original atk. When this card destroyes a monster by battle, you can special summon 1 level 5 or higher monster from your hand or gy in defense position except odd eyes
Konami need to make some Paradox Brothers support. Maybe remake The Gate Guardian into an ACTUAL effect monster with immunity and a better way of summoning it. It would be nice to make it an actual archetype and add support to it like they did to all Legacy decks, like Ra, Gaia, Jinzo, etc..
Back in the day you could (Going first) turn 1 set Giant Rat. Opponent attacks into it. Special Summon Wall. And as long as they didn't have a removal spell you could have turn 2 Wall Shadow.
When yugioh was great; back when no archetypes existed really and every deck was a creative beatdown or control deck, and when the game didn’t have handtraps and bs generic monster negates and all the extra deck special summon bs.

You should consider Stronghold Guardian for this deck. Cool handtrap that adds 1500 defense to a monster.

If ur playing so many normal/face down monsters then why not run flawless perfection of the tenyi for draw power and protection?

Giant Rat, while slow, can also get Labyrinth & Shield out.
