If you’re watching this and own or work for an implement dealer our friends at Cajun Country livin need a sponsor to get a brush hog before this one blows up and ruins a Croc!
This is Jim & Lydia and we approve this message. 😂😂😂

Bush hog vs crock lol I'll place my bet on the Bush Hog
Between the music and pace off this episode yall put together a real relaxxxxing 35 mins. Been watching the weather channel and saw how cold it gets in youre neck of the woods. I didn't know it got that cold but at least yall don't get snow. haha. Thanks for the video (outstanding quality btw)
Appreciate that so much!!
Lots of new animals in the last couple of months, dogs, puppies, more goats and now Blaze 🐴 he looks lovely.
Yes! So many! & quail!
Oooo I love an extra long video!
Thank you friends 😊
Cody you need to book a trip to see Blaze
Lydia, I think you should name that Hootis you used to get on the roof. You go girl, yall are one of my favorite youtubers. Love me some Cajun Country Livin.
Thank you so much!!
We had a quarter horse called Wayne's Jet Leaving. We bought him off the race track in Houston when our boys were around 8 years old. He was SO FAST, but the calmest horse we ever owned. We could throw 2 or 3 kids up on his back, and he would just drop his head and plod around... But, we could also let him loose in the pasture and he would be GONE. We bought him as a 3 year old, and had him until he was 31. My heart broke into a million pieces when his time here was done. We called him Boots, and I sure hope there are ponies in heaven. He was hands down the best. I hope Blaze gives your family, and Ladley especially, lots of wonderful memories.
Love this story Wendy! Thank you for sharing it with us!😊
Hey ya'll! I really enjoyed this episode. Blaze is such a sweet and beautiful horse! Ya'll take care!
Thank you Gary!!
Love your horse so pretty and so gentle and nice.
Thank you Deborah!
I miss working cattle! Absolutely HATED it when i was a kid and now miss it! Ol Blaze is a beautiful horse
It is kinda bittersweet…. I know what you mean!
Great video Jim & Lydia always puts a smile on my face.
Glad you enjoyed it😄😄😄
Life on the farm looks real fine.
😊😊
The wild Badger saw sounds nice.
We really like it so far!
Beautiful place to live ❤
What a great looking horse... or harse as Jim pronounces it 😁🤣🤣 Jim back to using that ol noggin to save some money and got the bush hog fixed. great job. Glad we got to see yall today. Have a wonderful rest of the week!!
I honestly just laughed out loud at “Harse” 😂😂 Thank you for your continued support week after week Bodie! We hope that you’re having a great week too!
Blaze is a beautiful horse. He needs a friend. ❤
Love the way you fix things and are creative about it. I'm seeing a lot of thst happening in NC. Folks making bridges out of logs, 40 ft flatbed trailers and even sections of concrete from broken bridges. Knowledge is much more valuable than any amount of money. Keep thriving, keep smiling and keep inspiring. ❤❤❤
Thank you! So true!!😊
@@CajunCountryLivin you are welcone. Appreciate all you do.

Hello Blaze, nice to meet you.
Helloooo!🐴🐴🐴

Howdy Blaze, Welcome To The Channel. Thank You Captain Croc And Lovely Lydia For Another Great Episode!
Thank you so much for watching and always leaving nice comments!
Y'all are so cute! Love meeting Blaze, and seeing Jim love on him so much ❤️
Lydia, where'd you get the cute quilted hoodie? I make custom memory quilts and memory bears, and both me and my husband perked up when we saw it!
Thank you Denise!! 🩷🩷
Hey! I got it online somewhere. I can probably find the link if you instagram DM us! If you decided to make the quilted hoodies PLEASE let me know! I would love to buy one from you 🫶
Another great episode! Blaze is a handsome ol guy.
Thank you Mr. Charles!
Hello Jim and Lydia, loved your brush cutter repair, it's going to be a challenge to balance those blades, maybe look for some used that just need sharpening..
Love the horse, very cool addition and the goats are getting bigger lol..
Thank you Mr. John! You are correct about the balancing aspect. I have taken them down a good bit on the bevel and they still have a little vibration. It’s cut good so I just lowered the rpm’s and ran in a much lower gear until I got finished.
@@CajunCountryLivin That's good, takes the urgency out of getting it done and gives you time before having to use it again. I didn't want you to cause any more damage to the more expensive parts in the drive system..
One of the bad things about winter besides the bad weather is you remember all these little things that need taken of before the bad weather sets in.😊
Glad to meet you Blade.
Wishing you the best.
It's always nice to see you guys. Now I have Blade to look forward to seeing .
Praying a safe winter for you.
Northeast Missouri is having upper 70,s during the day and 40,s at night.
Very true Mr. Jim! We always seem to find ourselves cramming as much last minute items in as we can before the rains set in. We hope that you are having a great weekend and that weather sounds amazing!
Thank you for sharing this video with us. It brought back a lot of memories for me. I love your Blaze and am currently learning how to draw horses. I am retired now and having a great time. Dick B.
Thank you very much for watching Mr. Dick! So happy that you are enjoying your retirement time!😁🎉
Great video, that poor saddle needs some good ole saddlesoap. Works wonders.
Yes it does! It’s about to get a good detail for sure!
When we have everything on our 'to do ' list completed, 5 more tasks appear. Such is life. Blaze is a beautiful horse.
Blaise , it’s beautiful
Awesome video guys ❤
Love the video all yalls work, got to accomplish everything before winter. Here it's in the high 70s in Southern New Mexico. I'm going to be cutting, splitting wood for the winter. Yall stay safe,Lydia u got guts to climb on a ladder from yalls roof top vehicle. Love Blaze, beautiful horse. I used to breed thorobreds, paints. Now just a few cats still live on my property. Jim u r so knowledgeable on building to mechanical work. A man of all trades. Hard to find them nowadays. Love yalls smiles, and music.😊
Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment Karen!
A dally hooting!Good idea!
😁
I'm totally sure that OSHA would approve of the ladder on the roof of the 4 wheeler 😊. Blaze looks like a real gentle horse. When Jim tossed the tape measure I couldn't help but think how Ted would have caught it 😅. Have a great week, also looks like y'all have played some basketball.
Thank you Mr. Steve! Teddy definitely has a unique skill set in that prospective 😂
Blaze is beautiful
Thank you!
Jimbo, you’ve got a keeper of a wife in Lydia! My wife is always giving me grief for my sketchy ladder platforms. I had to show my wife Lydia up on your UTV on the ladder. Her words, “That’s a big NOPE!” 😂 You’re a studette doing all that high angle work, Lydia!
Thank you! She definitely doesn’t back up from a challenge 😊 She doesn’t fear much for sure!
Great video good to see y'all
Thanks Randy!!
Great choice of blouse color
Thank you! 😊
My favorite Cajuns, hey y'all ❤
Doing a ladder on top of the side by side that is something would say it's not the fall that will kill you it's the sudden stopped at the end.😂😂
GOOD STUFF...! Time to go watch the hoof GP
LOL TNX 4 VID LOL
Thanks for watching!
Best outdoor attire I’ve seen yet!
Beautiful horse
Thank you!
Cute lil Gus - and Jim in his cowboy crocs🤭
😁😁😁
Another great video guys love it thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!
Welcome Blaze! We got down into the 30's over night up here in Northern Illinois. Of course you guys have opened yourselves up to being accused of literally horsing around you know!
That’s too cold, too early 😳
We definitely opened ourselves up for that one Harold😂
Hi Jim and Lydia, great to see y'all today. That was a nice story about Blaze and how he made the rounds in the family. It's great that it all worked out for you to have him. That was a little sketchy when Lydia was getting up on the roof, but I should have known she'd handle it with no problems. Lydia, you are very athletic, strong and multi skilled. Thanks for letting me spend a little time with y'all today. Have a blessed week and I'll see y'all on the next one. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Thank you for watching Mr. Larry!
That'll buff right out! 😂
😅😅😅
Jim, for a brand new second-hand bushhog, she cuts pretty good! She needs just a little love, but she will do! Blaise is a beautiful horse 🐎! Thank God that in the swamp, you bought those guns 💪🏻 to help you😂😂😂! But as always friends, we love y'all, and we will catch you on the next one! I hope y'all have a blessed week 🙏
Yes sir Mr. Cedric! She cuts like Dillards at a price like Dollar General 😂 I always have those guns available…. Lydia is always nearby 😁😁😁

Hi! Thank you for watching!
Is that one of the new puppies ? Getting big . God sent
Thank you David! That’s our new puppy, Woodrow.
Lucky we don’t have the fun police, ladder on the side by side 😂😊❤ Love seeing Gus 😊 Yeah, they design the shalf like that, gave you fixed it. Nice horse 🐴 Until the next video ❤❤ FYI Lydia riding 😮😊❤
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
I was chuckling as Lydia was climbing the Altitudinal Hootis while looking directly at the nice, tall, safe ladder for the deer (aka photo) stand 😂😂 and yes, Cowboy Cros for the win! nice to meet you Blaze!
BTW, thanks for the Breast Cancer awareness ribbon. Touches close to home and is much appreciated!
Great job
Fixing things on the farm is a neverending task
That's a mighty fine pair of riding crocs you're wearing Jim.
Blaise is beautiful
Thank you Ross!!

Awesome job y'all!!
Blaze is really good looking! Very. Relaxed - comfortable 😊
He's great for Lydia 😀
Now he needs a mate 😮 so y'all can go on rides together, they have kids seats for the young'n 🤠. How's she liking the new addition? Just being curious 🤔🤗
Till the next one... 🙏💗👍🤙
Thank you! 😊 Ladly absolutely Loves Blaze!
Born to ride. You guys look great, good boy.....not sure if i caught his name, blaze?
Yep homestead is coming along very well
You got it Robert, Blaze!
Love the riding crocks
Thank you Kathy😂
Lydia please hide those pump pliers and make Jim use two wrenches😅
😂😂
Yep. Had one of those feeders until pigs completely destroyed it. Farming is work on its own. Everything will come together for you as it always does. Figure out the problem and get it fixed. There will always be issues that you can always fix. We all appreciate your videos.
Very sorry that your feeder got torn up. Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment and thank you for watching!😊
Awsome video.
Thank you David!
Nice looking horse. My grandson started rodeoing 5 years ago. We bought a truck and camper to go watch him after his first year and have a lot of fun watching. I think he s on his seventh horse. He got 2nd and 4th in two goes at his last rodeo and his part time coach riding my grand son's horse won $3500.
looks like the remits of another bushing
Way to go 🫶 Jim and Lydia 👍👍👏👏!!
Wow Lydia, you be a c l i m b e r 😊 on that roof!! Jim be the spectator down below. 😃 ?? How y'all be getting into the hut, didn't see a latter? I thought you may have a trap door underneath. 😁
Great Job Jim , fixen another cheaper thing to help you get the job done. 😍 That.
Basketball people, good shooting!!
Run away goat 🐐 playing with the dogs and cat. 😍
Beautiful Horse 🐎
Cowboy Captain Croc with a baseball cap 😁 instead of Stetson.
Cowgirl Princess with her beautiful locs of hair and styling clothes 😊. Yeeha both of you!! Love it!!

Thank you Mr. Thomas! Always love reading your comments 😊
@@CajunCountryLivin always love watching your videos 😊 , have a good night
Loved this nice video. OSHA approved or not.
Thank you Gary!!
When you get that shop finished , I suggest a parts washer. A grinder on those blades should help the cutting ability. And washing the cutting deck occasionally will make them last longer. A leaf blower also helps clean that deck .
Thanks for the tips Ross!
Great video Jim & Lydia! Beautiful horse. I just have one question Jim. Why is Lydia always the one on the roof? LOL!
I’m more like a cat on a roof.. Jim is more like an elephant on the roof!😂
Y’all should invest in the 600# Banks gravity feeder. They mount on a treated 6x6 buried in the ground. It’s a pain having to fill those little ones all the time. Great video!!!
Hello love your content I’m an ol cowboy from Southern Alberta please make sure you connect your back cinch to your front cinch or you will have an automatic bucking HOOTIS ❤
Is Jim scared of heights ? :) 🤣
My granddad had a cutting horse that I rode as a teen. He taught me that a horse, any horse will puff out his mid section to keep the saddle from being too tight when it was put on. If that saddle slides sideways when the horse is moving then the rider eats the dirt.
Happy Friday Cajun family how long have y’all been together and how in the hudas did y’all meet ? ❤️
lmao, jelly sounds like jello in the video
😊
Jim ,,a five dollar baby pool from Walmart full of water will enhance your deer blind area greatly,,,don’t expect the deer to use it frequently until the sixth week it’s been in place.
I really like that idea Mr. Bobby!
@@CajunCountryLivin I’ve done it here many times and they take six to eight week to really get to using it daily but when they do I get videos of them all hours of the day drinking water out of a baby blue swimming pool ,,,I have hundreds of videos of them walking out of the woods at dinner time right out in to my yard and the first thing they do is drink water ,,,,take and put a stick in it so small animals can get out and not drown ,,also a bird perch n drink ,,,bucks drink six quarts of water each and every day.
They really like black cherry koolaid,,,ohhh and candy corn
You can sharpen those blades with a torch just run the torch head the same angle as the cutting edge I run a shop in South Georgia we’ve been doing that for years
Thank you for the tip Jamie!
Your welcome
👍

What’s planned for the wet days 🤔
We have lots to work on with the containers!
@@CajunCountryLivin looking forward to seeing that
Well so much for the sketchy phrase “ this is why women live longer then men”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Blaze is a very pretty boy...
Thank you!
Kinda looks like you were making shine in that shed. But drank some before that last drunken piece was installed.
😂😂
Lydia, where did you get the quilt shirt? I just started quilting and I think I need one 😂
I got it online somewhere! If you start making them, i will pay you to make one for me!! I absolutely love it.
Beautiful horse, and is that a saddle or an equine human support hootis?
😂🤣
That horse has a big belly.
He is a Chubb 😂
🚜🐎
😊
The phrase you're looking for is "crooked as a politician!"
you need to put the gable end trim and the drip edge on the pole house roof or your have problems
Thank you for the tips!
May not be safer for you but more fun for him
😂
It's Hootisized
🤣🤣🤣🤣 love it!!
The blades on your Hog need to be balanced. FYI
Good to know! Thank you Clyde!
It's not the heat that gets you it's the humidity.
Yes!!
Did Francine fine a forever home? How are the puppies?
We have some people interested in Francine, but nobody has committed just yet. The puppies are growing so fast. They are all so chubby and playful 😊
