- Use your regular air compressor with your airbrush without having to buy the specialized compressors that are made just for airbrushes. Save money and protect your airbrush and projects with this setup.
Mini air regulator

Also if you have a harbor frieght nearby you could possibly get on there. Also the couplings there would be cheaper too. Best of luck on your projects.
I tuned into for the music and somehow learned about airbrush and compressor rigging.
:V
Love how you put that in series.
Thanks for this, great vid. Off to listen to some Bob Seger now...
Nice to hear night moves in the background after God knows what! Cheers man. 😃
Thanks! Very useful vid. Nice work mat you have there too, funny thing is I searched up your video because I'll be using an airbrush to apply some Duracoat to a couple new lower receivers.
Thanks for this, It really gave me a great breakdown of what I needed.
Awesome, I was about buy a airbrush compressor because I didn't know it was possible to use my regular garage compressor. This will save me some $$ thank you sir!
Yeah I totally didn't want to buy one was on a budget . So I did some figuring glad it helped yall
how about a 80 gallon industrial shop compressor?
yes , thats what i have . i do have a regulator on the compressor then into the small one there to reduce pressure further
thank you this is exactly what i was looking for
Good overview. For airbrushing having regulators that go up to 100 always seems silly - why not have guages and regulators that stick to the 5-50psi range to allow easier reading of the lower ranges. Are there any recommendations on the regulator that ensure there is enough fine adjustment to control +-2psi levels down in the 10-20 PSI range?
Could well do without the noise in the background.
While I can't call Styx "noise", I do agree that it's distracting in this video.
Could you post a list of required supplies and maybe as you mentioned stores to buy them with appropriate prices. Thanks!
harbor frieght has all that and air bushes for the cheap people like me...lol
Cheap Garbage. Iwata and Sparmax are outstanding.
thank you for the video
Air is air, actually the noise levels are more importent, plenty of compressor reduction fittings around but no noice silencers!!!
Best silencer?
Distance.
(maybe with a door or two between you and the compressor if possible)
Get yourself a couple of cheap 50' air hoses. Problem solved.
👍
Great Video. Do you know what pressure these should be set to?
The airbrush should tell you a good operating pressure . In the manual. I cant remeber exactly but I think mine is set to 20psi. Consult your book to be sure . It has bee about 6 months since I have done any airbrushing. Sorry
Set your shop compressor pressure regulator to... say 40lbs. Then use the smaller pressure regulator you got for your air brush to fine tune the pressure to lower levels more accurately.
hey there. cool video, can u post a link to where we can buy that regulator thing? i don’t know what to search for...

Maybe thatll help ya bud make sure you get the right size fitting to fit the regulator and if you have a harbor frieght nearby you can get your couplers from there
xtreambackman Man thank you! Really appreciate the video and the link! 😁
@@nicholdas its no problem at all dude
Can I get the regulator and moisture trap at Harbor Freight? On a budget.
I'm not sure I'd run in there and see though they have the connectors and stuff . I made this video before we had a harbor frieght
@@xtreambackman All setup now!
Thanks!
Can you post links for the filter and regular
Air is air....
If I'll use the AIRBRUSH COMPRESSOR PRESSURE REGULATOR WATER TRAP FILTER MOISTURE GAUGE AFR-2000 , will it work out on the airbrush? Please i need some answers😭
If you are using an airbrush compressor you shouldn't need all that. This setup is for a 80 gallon shop compressor
