I just bought this and so glad I found this video to see how the different attachments work. Not sure how it would all travel though, I'd probably just take the speed styler
Can you compare this to the Shark Flexstyle? I haven’t seen any comparisons yet! I’ve been waiting for a sale for the Shark Flexstyle but then this got released and now I’m intrigued. I know this one doesn’t have the curl wands. How would you compare the round brush attachment on each one? I use the Revlon Blow Dry brush and I want to upgrade, hence wanting to buy the Shark. I love that you can rough dry to get it 80% dry first on either the Flexstyle or SpeedStyle. Right now I still have to use my T3 blow dryer first and then finish with the Revlon. Thank you so much for posting this video, I appreciate your advice 😊🙏🏻
This is a blow dryer that happens to have attachments. :) The FlexStyle is an all in one Blow Dryer and Styler because of its attachments. The SmoothStyle is that blowdries and smooths and has an extra mode that helps straighten hair. The SmoothStyle also never gets above hair damaging temperatures because it regulates the temperature! Which is amazing
I am trying to find a comparison between this one and the Shark Hyper Air. Do you have any opinion on that? I have short hair, and I use only the concentrators on my hair dryers. I have the Hyper ir, butI need a second one for another bathroom. Should I get this one? Can you talk about the difference between the two?
Thanks for the review! I’ve been considering buying the FlexStyle but then saw this on the Shark website and am now torn between the two. My main main aim is to create frizz free volume. Would the FlexStyle curling barrels work with the SpeedStyle? I hardly ever curl my hair but having the option to do so with the same device would be nice.
I received mine today. Mine has all the attachments. I just used for the first time. Like how lightweight it is. Dried quickly. Still use my flat iron because my hair is a straight chin length bob. I can wear it wavy too because my hair is naturally wavy. I have not had a diffuser that I have liked. Excited to try this one
It looked like the smooth styler took away all of your volume. Also the smooth styler metal curved plate gets very hot so I would consider it a hot tool same as a straightener. How would it cause less damage as it het very hot and touches your hair as it smoothes?
The smooth styler does take away all the volume. I only use it when I want my hair super straight. I don’t know if it really damages your hair that much as it is touching your hair but barely. The shark speed style is supposed to regulate the heat constantly to prevent heat damage.
I agree with you - this is ridiculously expensive! I cannot justify spending that much money on just a hair dryer! I also think right now this product is just way too hyped up - maybe if we wait a year, it will probably sell for half of the price 😊

Personally i find it loud, but it is more of a high pitch noise. 😅 but it isn't any louder than a normal hair dryer I reckon

It is not expensive, a Dyson is over $400. Your hair should be worth it.
