Hello guys! Just a review of this tool. I used the Shark Smoot Style today for the first time. I got it for my birthday and was really excited to use it. You’re right this tool is impressive. It does a real good job. I must say that I dried my mid-length hair with a towel first and left them inside during 1 hour and a half before using it. Then, I took the smooth style to dry my hair cautiously with the highest level of intensity. After about 5 or 6 minutes, they were dried. Finally I use it to blow dry my hair during 5 more minutes with the correct mode. And that’s it! Done after about 15 minutes. They are smooth and curly. Usually, it takes half an hour to make the whole thing. The only point that I would describe as negative is the heaviness of the tool. It’s very big and imposing! It would have been better if the Brand put two different types of brushes and it weighed less. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the result.

Great honest video! Thank you! There are dryer brushes that has the option of large Oval and small on as a detachable. Love to see if there is a manufacturer that has this option with the smoother heat portion in them. Love to see their dryer demo. I’m a Dyson AirWrap girl. I also have their Air Straightener. But I like Sharks compact and powerful products.
I like the final look. Too bad it didn't have a smaller attachment to pop on the base to get to the roots. I'd like to see the new dryer that Shark has.
@@JulissaGuillen My hair is not curly at the roots and I like this better than the drybar shots! I tried 80 percent airstrait, finish with smoothstyle for bend and very good results. But…to get put my mucho frizz, nothing beats the airwrap barrels. Excited by the spinnabilitt of the speedstyle…but no barrels
I have similar hair like you and I’m so happy you reviewed this! I personally would get it for that price if my roots will be curly still or any humidity will make it poofy.
I just bought the same kind of blow dryer straightening brush on Amazon for only $35 & it's amazing! Its the same thing but much better price! It makes my hair so nice and full and shiny.
how does it compare to the round brush attachment on the flex style? I can’t decide if I want to get the entire flex style just for the round brush attachment or if I should just get the smooth style 😬
I personally like the Flexstyle more for blowouts because the brush feels a lot more gentle on my hair 💕 this SmoothStyle brush does feel a tiny bit more rough on my curls 💕 hope this helps!
Loving the result from the shark smooth style. I saw that you comment that the review of the speed style is coming soon. So out the shark flexstyle, smooth style, and speed style which one would you remember for curly hair. I know that they all would work on curly hair so which is your favorite. This is a late reply but I use my AirPods with noise cancellation while using the brush dryers. I'm sure these dryers would damage your hearing over time.
Im looking at the shark speed style right now and need to know - are the attachments compatible with the flex style? The diffuser looks exactly the same and some of the attachments look really cool but I don't wanna buy a whole new styler just to use them.
How am i just learning about this tool. I have the flexstyle. I use the flat brush attachmemt to dry and smooth my hair, then i use my wavytalk heated roundbrush to style it. I wash my hair twice a week, so it's a very easy routine.
One of the best reviews since searching for one for weeeeks! Love the comparison betn different products! Only one question - how does the weight of the tool feel on the hand? Asking for someone with slightly frail hands/injuries. TIA!
Aw thank you so much! 🥰 it definitely is a little heavier than my other blow dryer brushes 😩 if you want a lighter one try the Drybar Reserve 3-in-1 Interchangeable Blow Dryer 💕 it’s the lightest blow dryer brush I have ever tried! It just doesn’t get as hot as this Shark one but if you have slightly wavier hair you should be fine! Hope this helps! ❤️

Any tool can cause damage, no matter shark or dyson or whatever. This one is not as bad, the smoothing option is 210 degrees celcius, if not ysed daily and with proper care and protection you’ll be safe

The side by side Wight he high heat setting looked like it gave you more volume and frizzles. I like the medium heat setting side

Why are the brush hair dryers so loud? I wish they weren’t so loud. They’re great but I wish the technology to control heat and noise were there.

How long does your comb take to heat up? Mine takes about 8 min instead of 2 min as the box and website states.
