Parachute opened for Gavin DeGraw in Tallahassee last night and I really thought they put on an excellent show. I had already heard some of their music and liked it.
I hear this at work all the time and sing song with it. Lots of customers comment on how good the song is (and how well I harmonize with it lol). For the longest time it sounds like a choir singing backup. Imagine my shock when I find out its just four dudes. Thats talent
It is a choir singing back up. It’s not live recording and video. It’s just a music video so they don’t have to have the choir on stage. I’m not sure but they probably don’t actually have someone who plays trumpet and horns like in the song either. They may hire people that aren’t regular band members for a live show or change the instrument to a guitar part or just use tracks.
They just have people sing in the music videos for effect. They may sing too, but it’s definitely a choir. There’s a woman singing vocal runs at the end of the song.

WOW, Parachute takes their sound to church! Who knew they had this in them?! This is a masterpiece - the sweeping chorus with the gospel choir, the sax, the call-and-response vocals... so cool. Can't help but love it! One of those rare gems that you love on the very first listen. I liked She is Love but this song tops that one - it's much more ambitions and risky, with more difficult vocals too. Had no idea the lead singer could hit notes like that! Had my alarm clock set to play the radio station as the alarm. This song played one morning, and now it's on my I-Pod. Now I use my I-Pod to wake me up, with this song being the first thing I hear in the mornings. :-D

I don't understand how anyone who enjoys music can dislike this.
Had to come find this after hearing it in a store. Very uplifting. Made me feel good.
It's now 2023 post covid and this song rings just as good as when it came out. Maybe an AGT or Idol or the Voice contestant will rock it and it will resurface.
