John was right. Lots of us procrastinate.. we tell ourselves we're busy and the church will be there tomorrow. But... we might not be. Men are taught not to cry. But nobody explains that in holding back tears we must be careful not to hold back or close off our hearts... which is what most men wind up doing to be tough. The truth is, it is the toughest man who cries... the one who has no fear of another seeing. The one who, if his tears don't touch your heart, but cause you to mock, may turn and cause you to never mock again.
Do not turn from what you see that is wrong because it isn't you it's happening to... Your kids may be next.

Saint John of The Cross had a profound love for God. His way of being was between him and God. The others around him probably did not understand his ways because God willed it.
