    CF-Moto are going to clean the market in 10 years, that's my prediction. Just Subbed, you deserve way more subs. From the UK.

    I was considering buying a new showroom 700CLX Sport but the front brake lever was mushy. I told the salesman, but 3 weeks later, they still had not bled the front brake lines. Amazing how one air bubble can completely negate axially mounted dual Brembo calipers, an axial master cylinder, and braided brake lines.

    Great review, man ! This will be my next bike for sure, I have always been a sucker for the neo-cafe look. And this Sport model just hits the sweet spot. A little pricey here in Romania but fewer burgers and beers and I'll have it in no time. Even if the firing order is "old school at 180 degrees" it is still ok to be honest. Keep up the good work !

    I got the Heritage. It's truly a fantastic bike and the price makes it even better. I have not gotten a lot of miles on it yet as it is snowing here now LOL. But thus far I am amazed and I have been riding Harley half my life. But this bugger is just to much fun. The Benelli 302s is a great! little bike also. Especially for a beginner. ( I have one of those also )

    A crazy idea just popped into my head. I love low handlebars; as low as you can go to the point of even going below sedan car mirrors. Seeing the base supports for the clip on bars, flipping and switching them seems to be possible so the bars come out even lower. Since the angle is fixed, I bet at least the controls might bump with the tank, but nothing that simply limiting the turn can't fix (you almost never turn all the way outside of filtering and parking anyways).

    All I am worried about is the longevity of the parts and how well the factory service handles the repair.

    I think I want this as a second bike. The fact it has full-flavor 'bos, front, rear, and master -- a thing my nice bike doesn't even have.... If they do their TFT display on this in 2025 its a done deal for me. Because the SS looks nice, and the display is incredible, but the stinker of an engine, and the single disc spoils it. This fixes that, at the cost of the SS's gorgeous looks, IMO. And I have my sport bike base covered. This would make a nice "something else".

    I just got the heritage model last week and cant stay off of it - its a blast to ride. I just wish it had the clip on handle bars like the sport. Any idea if they can be swapped out. Have you tried the heritage and if so do you like the handle bar setup it has over the sport? I prefer the forward leaning position as I come from a sport bike background. Great informative vid by the way - thanks.

    • @hoagiemoto
      @hoagiemoto  2 года назад +1

      It appears like the clip on's can be swapped from one to the other but let me double check both of the bikes this week! If they can't, an easy way to get more lean will be to swap the handlebars for a lower bar bend. The stock heritage bend has a lot of rise and some sweep. You can probably get a Pro-Taper Carmichael bend Contour or Evo handlebar and it would lower the feel a lot. I swapped my MT09 stock handlebars for the Carmichael bend to get more lean. It made a pretty big difference. There is also a low bend called "steering damper low" which is really low and flat. I'm sure some other companies like Renthal, Mika, and more make a low handlebar also. You can look at the Pro-Taper bar dimensions on their website.

    • @erik-ku7eo
      @erik-ku7eo 2 года назад

      @@hoagiemoto Thanks for the reply. IMHO the lower handle bar also gives a more "vintage" look as well as the benefit of the "lean". From what I can tell after looking at your suggestions, the Pro-Taper could possibly do the trick and still use the same hardware that came with the bike for the install. I'll have to look into it when I get a minute but thanks for the intel.

    I'm not sure if it's because in America you all drive automatic cars but ive noticed that in USA motorcycle reviews there is a lack of gear changing. Many times I've seen higher speeds in 3rd or 4th gears the whole video, not once putting the bike in top or even 5th.

    • @nickolaslewis4416
      @nickolaslewis4416 Год назад

      Just buy a ram mount ball for the rear view mirror screw and mount a phone there (just remove the little cap they put on there to protect it). That's what I did and its just fine. Once you put the ball on, you can use a Ram mount, Quad-lock, or any number of other phone holders. I have the Sport version too and I have my phone set on the mirror tap on the left handle bar.

    Could you customize those motorcycles, like for example, lowered down or add a regular sport bike front plastic so isn't so plain.

    • @hoagiemoto
      @hoagiemoto  3 месяца назад

      I'm sure a reputable suspension shop could lower it. For the plastic, I don't know of any companies making fairings for these bikes. I'm sure if you are creative you could customize something!

    • @hoagiemoto
      @hoagiemoto  2 года назад +1

      The earliest we could see it is 2023. I really have no idea though. I believe it's only in China at the moment so I'm not sure if they will test it in other markets before they bring it to the US. So it may not be for awhile unfortunately. I would like to see them bring that bike, the 650gt and the 850mt over next year myself.

      If the 450SS came to the states I think they would need to remove the 300SS. Too close in displacement for American motorcycle buyers looking for a “beginner bike”.
      I think the 450SS (SR in the UK) looks great, and I would be happy to have it. It would fare better against the Ninja 400 as well, which we sell quite a few of at the dealership I work at.
      The 300SS is a purchase made by a lot of beginners who come to our store looking for the Ninja 400 but don’t want the price tag of the Ninja 400 (or we are sold out) lol.
      The 450SS would have a higher price tag than the 300SS, but likely still fall in line with the Ninja 400 customers who want similar HP numbers and might opt for the 450SS even if the 300SS was still there. Good for CFMOTO Dealerships as well because their profit increases as MSRP increases through the CF motorcycle family.
      Sorry for the wall of text. 😅 I think the 450SS would sell very well though, and would be a welcome addition to US dealerships. 🇺🇸

      @@Omni_Moto I agree wholeheartedly with all of that. I too fall into that category of would-be ninja 400 buyers, but have mentally made the switch to the 300ss for my 1st street bike. Its way cheaper out the door, more options/features, brand new, full warranty, dealer support, great looks, and still fun, even if its a little slow, 😅. However the minute the 450ss comes to the states, Im snatching one up. Absolutely phenomenal bike for the money. Cfmoto is a rising star 🌟
